Thanks a lot. Don't know how do I miss those posts??

What the guy done for getting wide tracks? Did he add wheel spacer or changed the differencials? Would like to know which is the best option for a wide track look.

tks/sadiq

A quick question, did you convert her to 4WD? And is that black American wannabe is 4WD?

Thanks

Hi Pramod,

Can you tell me how to reach this place? I am still new here and cannot use the PM mode. Is this a wildlife sanctuary or is there easy access to this place? My interest is in fishes that could be found here.

Ita a free access area, its about 20km from Kothamangalam on the Aluva - Munnar Road. I would advice you to stay away from going there during monsoon as flash floods and landslides are expected. Try during the monsoon breaks, onam time, ou would enjoy it.

Thanks, Pramod. So if I am coming from Munnar, it should be about 20 kms before Kothamangalam, right? I have driven down from Munnar to Kothamangalam on the way to Thattekad, so I guess I must have passed this road.

You have to take a right near the police station in Kothamangalam.

I am currently doing some upgrades for my MM540, would post pictures after i complete it.

You have got a nice thread here. your 540 has changed a lot and looks really gud. Not everyone loves a jeep and not everyone loves a jeeper, nice to see you. I am new to T-bhp, but a guest for the last one year. Own a Gypsy King. Can you give me some details about this old munnar road? Where is it? is this still in working condition, i mean, can we reach munnar through this route? please share the route.

From where to get into this route
road conditions
river crossings??
distance from start to munnar
