Uff..finally the work on my MM540 has completed. We did a first trial with the new 4x4 system and it worked pretty well. Posting some pictures of the jeep and some interiors.

congrats on the completion... did u do some ramp tests to check if the prop shaft is not fouling with GB cross member? and can u post a pic of the underchassis standing a bit faar from the side of the jeep, want to see how much faar back the GB cross member is placed...

Some photos from the recent trip we made to Chaturangapara, nr to Munnar. Was an awesome experience.

tter, overdrive engaged only above 60kmph, the mileage is at 15 kmpl range which was the same with the 2 wheel drive Nissan GB.

Its been a wonderful 10 months since i completed my alteration of my MM540. Restoration period was eventful with lots of confusion, cautionary advices, worry about mileage, engine reliability etc.

Some issues i faced earlier was the engine oil and ...oil leak , which was sorted out, the beloxing cover that had to be made at our own leth.

The smoothness and power delivery is something that needs to be experienced 1st hand.

And today i can proudly say that I'm extremely happy with the set up.

You got yourself a Great Looker Mate. Nice work with the nissan motor. IMO, a Thar CRDE soft top will just complete the look. There are a few available on OLX for free from people who have changed over to Hard top.
