Also attached are some updated photos of my MM TD25.

Thats my father eagerly waiting for the engine starting session.

Also shown are photos of other works being done by Kunjtettan -

hello sir, we even were not able to hear to hear the actual sound of your engine. It was heardly posted a 7 sec's clip, I wonder.

Please, good or bad, what ever you think should be discussed. Are you satisfied with the new engine????

You tube video's default setting is mute, so please rememeber to turn the sound on.

The engine has very less vibration, the steering wheel didnt have the usual diesel vibration when the engine kicked off, the sound was less compared to the jeeps, but said it would be further reduced when we refit the damaged muffler and a new airfilter.

On the intial drive, there was a 'missing' in the engine firing, which was found out to be due to the fuel pump.

Other than these we didnt notice anything.

Even though the engine has been installed we have our fingers crossed, and thats why we decided to postpone the 4X4 conversion. We would be doing that after we have driven a couple of hundred kilometers.

Hey Prmd!

Great to see the engine come to life!

Can you let us know the specifications of the engine?

Did you change the engine mount and any other modification to fit it in the engine bay?

What are you plans for the 4wd?

The setup looks promising! cheers:

Thanks

We had to make changes to the engine bay before the mountiing. We did another test run yesterday, the jeep wasnt picking up speed even in 5th gear, the rpoblem was due to the crown. We need to change the crown in the housing to fit the engine specs and to get a better rotational speed to the wheels.

Engine has 80bhp at 4300rpm and 163Nm at 2200rpm.

We havent started any of the cosmetic work yet, thats not our priority now. It would be after we finish with our mechanical work and we become confident of our machine. No point having the jeep looks, if it cant do what a jeep should.

Anyways im updating some more pictures of the mechanical work that was done.

I dont think so that its easily available, but we can definitly innovate and find out some ingenous answer. It might be Nissan, but its still a straight forward diesel engine.
C'mon dont scrare me now with those spare parts reminder.

We managed to get the gear lever and Airfilter fitted. Gear lever was taken from Sumo and Airfilter from lancer. Airfilter cost us 380 and the assembly 500.

Hi Pramod,

What about the legal procedure about changing the power plant? Is it allowed in Kerala? Some one told me that no more approval will get from Kerala govt. for such heart transplantations since last few years. Is it true and what the fact in your case?

tks/sali.
