Yeah 'Khalsa' only, though at present there are two (split between the brothers); the one I was referring to is the old one, which is in bit interior side as you correctly pointed.

This is a Kaiser on a mm540 chassis that was cut short.

The brown Kaiser that you see in the pics was a Nissan engined 2wd. The guy sold it for 2.5Lac.

Hey Randeep

I see some gypsies in the back ground. Were these these the Gypsy King mpfi version? Any idea how much one of these would be?

Cheers

Never get any thing done in mayapuri. these mechanics; i.e. if they can be called mechanics dont have any concept of good workmanship..all they know is jugaad and how to swindle people and how to eyewash. better to take a complete rundown vehicle from them as scrap and build it your self. they dont have any scruples or technique or knowledge. all they want is for you to give them your money and for them to give you bull in return. If you ask them what are they going to put in the vehicle they never give you a straight answer and only tell you not to worry.
Mark my words!!! when a mayapuri mechanic tell you not to worry that is the time to start worrying seriously.

This has already been mentioned here repeatedly. There are some people who, being newcomers to the jeep arena, become the victims of mayapuri mechanics easily. But there are also few people, who, in spite of having the knowledge, are forced to take their help because there are hardly alternate good workshops around. Irony is that, even if these people tell the mayapuri fellas as to what exactly needs to be done, still they go their own way.

nice paint work on the electric blue jeep and the silver parked along side, the ones with Sand grip tyres!

these jeeps from mayapuri are much in demand because of the election times in india. diesel jeeps, specially open jeeps are used in election campaigns and thats why you see them in large numbers.....go after elections in summer time and you get them at 50% discount!

yes i agree that if anyone wants to own a JEEP....build it from scratch and dont buy from MAYAPURI!

cheers:

Hi,

GoSlow the Gypsies were at Mayapuri. A good condition one would cost anywhere between 1 to 1.25 Lac.

Kandisa the Kaisers tub was put on a MM540 chassis because the Kaisers chassis was bent so they shortened the 540 chassis and installed the Kaiser tub on it.

Cheers !!!!!

Saw this jeep in Nariana today. Is owned by some workshop in Mayapuri.
Was asking 1.90 for a similar one. It had a nissan engine.

Wow I thought the Dabwali guys made some rubbish but that is getting close to what they offer in Dabwali.

What purpose does that dodgy net at the rear serve ? Can you use the back of the car as a goal for street soccer ?
