Was this made at Coimbatore. I am here in Coimbatore for another month and would love to see the place they make the same.

What's the point of using leaf springs? Better ride? Would they hold up during OTR conditions? Can you post more close ups?
EDIT:
why is the exhaust pipe hanging so low in the Cj340?
Also, what's fitted on the rear portion of the front right fender and what's attached behind on the CJ340?
Some pics of my Hurricane. Some are courtesy T-BHP members !!!
@Beejay: I believe these were made in Pollachi. Not exactly sure as it came along with the jeep when we bought it. Will try to find out when i get to pollachi this saturday and get back to you.
@Tejas: to be frank, we have'nt really taken it for serious off-roading to be able to comment about these wheels. I believe the previous owner would have made it for the looks rather than any other benefits, but I might be wrong. Also, behind the FR fender is just a hydraulic foot pump lol:.
Please bear with me for some close up shots till next weekend until I get home.
I am sure they are not OTR worthy either. A friend is doing up a bling contraption and this should be of interest to him. Thanks for the PM h14.
Doc, Guess the CJ340 aint 4wd.

Thanks
RAINMAKER for posting one of the most famous CJ3B's on the net from down south. I dont know how many times I have seen these pics and how many times I have saved them on my PC and how many times I have read your blog about the restoration.
Good to see you here Vivek!

The website is nice, but I am not sure about the list of vehicles. Are all the vehicles owned by by Dr. Jaikumar himself???
On my 1st glance the MM550 there looked quite familiar and on closer I can easily see that the vehicle is.... actually was mine and now in Mumbailol:
