Loved the simple yet different stance of the jeep. I am sure you bought it brand new. What makes of alloys are those?

Thanks Kandisa for your appreciation. Sorry this was not bought new but I got it recently. This was with CARE and had come for auction. This is a 2002 model with 50.000 kms run engine. I have put chrome rims with YOKOHAMA AT-S.

Chanu...looks simple and has a tough no-nonsense stance...what anyone would like his MM540 to be...

@shubhendra...was wondering whether i should go in for the wire mesh in front of the grille to hide the electrical fan in front of the radiator (The fan is an aid for the super hot summers of delhi specially for start and stop traffic).

Have ordered two actually...one in body colour and other in black. will fit the one which suits the best. But will it reduce cooling substantially and roll back the advantages of the electrical fan.

Atul Ji,
as you have already ordered front mesh, use them. they are detachable and it takes a minute to remove/install them. during peek summer and high traffic remove them.
What about your fuel pump, have you ever had overheating problem in fuel pump?

No Shubhendra ji, no problems with the original fuel pump even in peak delhi summers 4 years running - 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. On the other hand felt fading of the clutch after prolonged driving in traffic and the vehicle would start shuddering on releasing the clutch when moving from standstill.
