Sir,
The Dodge WC series were powered by a 6 cylinder 3.7 litre side valve engine.

Cheers

Wc52

Hello Gents,

That is not a POWER WAGON. Power Wagons were introduced after WW2.

This is a WEAPONS CARRIER.

This is a WC52, notice the bumper extension for the PTO Winch.

The Power Wagon Lettering has been added.

Regards,

Arka

Hmm... i don't think it's a WC52

WC52 have a dip in the left running board for the spare tyre. All the pictures of WC52s i saw on the net didn't have the front damper the vehicle posted for identification has. The only thing going in for the WC52 is the radiator grille and hood which looks flatter than the M601.

All the M601s i saw on the net has the front damper as the one in the photo. All m601s have a flat left running board with no recession for the spare tyre. This truck looks like a M601 with WC52 hood and windscreen. Wheels, running board, front suspension matches the M601 rather than the WC52. The M601s also had bumper extensions like the WC52. So looks more like a hybrid.

And who would want to add on Power Wagon letters to a military vehicle? But on M601s the Powerwagon lettering is found on the hood above the slats. So there is a chance that If the hood and the grille was changed they relocated the letterings to below the hood vents. Again, who would want to do this on a military vehicle?

What a fantastic brute of a machine! Imagine getting this girl decked up like one of those hotrod pictures earlier in the thread. Even restoring her to her former army glory will do wonders. God, you'll pee in your pants just standing next to her.

How many of us would wanna drive this ol' girl around in the city eh?
