Hi Beboy,

Nothing personal you are using the best there is in the market, but the sum of the parts should not be greater than the Whole!!!!

1) Engine pushed forward 3 inches

2) Rear "Fibre" Leaf Spring.

3) Cooling System especially with the A/C condenser in front of the radiator.

A few off-road trips will make you familiar with the vehicle, will expose any weakness in the combination, also give to time to make improvements.

I have moved my engine forward 2 inches but I am also fitting Bolero springs keeping the shackle point in the same place and moving my fixed point forward. This, I think, will move the wheels forward by about 1.5 inches!(since the Bolero springs are a little shorter than the 550's springs)
Will the fitting of a condenser affect the cooling drastically, specially since I have fitted a Scorpio clutch type fan leaf and an additional condenser fan!

Check the cooling otherwise !!!!!!

Fit a heavy duty fan (Ford Ikon) in front of your Radiator (behind the condenser) to push air into your radiator at crawling speeds.

reminds me of; A mechanic suggesting to me since I started with a Bolero Engine, then got Bolero Axles, and a Bolero Steering System, I should have bought a Bolero.

Please get rid of those eyesoreing mud flaps at the back also please dont try to fix the cooling coil of AC in the dashboard as it will be a problem to remove it for regular service and maintenance, Ihad done the same mistake in my AMBY years ago.

Seats look like they belong to a Honda Accord. Tyres look good to me but in Mumbai my regular tyrewala told me one day not to get these chinese tyres as they are not long lasting and they are porn to bursting on expressways at high speeds apart from this the price difference between indian reputed brands and these chinese is marginal.You may go for branded like Bridgstone desert dueler I had them fitted on my Tata Sumo and they were really good.

I think Nankang tires are made in Taiwan and not china. So is pretty much every laptop computer out there. It is impossible to source Bridgestones in the size that he wanted, i.e 235/85/16. This has the same overall diameter as the 7.50x16 Army tires and give the 550 about 25mm ground clearance over the stock tires.

YUP!!! I cannot find any other tyre in that size, i.e., 235/85/16.

Arka, dont you think the fan should draw air from the radiator!! IMO the auxillary fan should pull air from the radiator and not push it at crawling speeds!

Doesn't that depend on what direction you vehicle is normally traveling

I pray how does the engine mounted fan work, pulls air through the radiator or pushes air into the radiator?

With the so obvious and ugly difference between the front track (Bolero 4wd 57") and the rear track (MM550 limited slip 51"), I decided to switch to a Bolero 4wd differential, to bring some semblance of uniformity.
Now I am looking for a 19 spline diff lock. Can anyone help?
After the front SPOA, the height difference between the front and the rear was 1/2". I lifted the rear body using bushing, to compensate for the load after fixing the spare, seats and me!
