The Delhi Lamda dealer was quoting a price of RS3,000 for a pair of these a few weeks ago.

- Hi! are the Lambda Hubs better than the Aisin Hubs? pardon me for asking because Im based in Manila and we dont have any Lambda Hubs here.
- Another question about the 4x4 shiftknobs, Mine goes back to 4WD when engaged in 2WD. I also hear a grinding sound when i engage it to 4wd or 4wd. I guess it would be wise to ask you guys first before bringing my MM540 to the Mechanic.

Many thanks guys!

Though i have very limited experience but i guess its not. Only thing Lambda hubs are avaiable here brand new more or less easily.Thats why these might be the popular choice. brand new Aisin locks i am not sure whether available that easily.
-regards,

iI asked the mechanic how the shifts are and he replied you just have have to shift the lever down and the 4wd is on , then i asked him what about the high low neutral etc he said theres nothing like that , man i was worried i thought what has he done or iam done if he has done something like that lol. but later the next day i think he figured it out and told me about the shifts. But he still says there is no neutral to it. i just told myself after he completes the job ill figure it out .
My 550 has the same 4wheel shift pattern too. If the knob is original from the gearbox, then there is a neutral just before 4L and one has to move the lever quiet far to engage the 4L.

Regards,
Krishna.
