If you are planning for gyspsy mpfi conversion it will cost only 30 to 35000 that is the 413 gengine with ecm and all harnessing.
No regular dynamo. Hardly I use those lights. I have a bigger battery.

Am totally happy with the antenna, also Lots of people ask about the antenna, have got it sourced from UK. Because of its flexibility I don't have to worry of it while offroading or parking in basement. It flexes 180' with ease.

It's also called CB RADIO ANTENNA.

Shackles are from Viji.
Lambda I think 3100.

If you have any 1.3 engine let me know.

Thanks,
Krishna

3. 4x4 gear lever and shaft fitting work.

The Maruti authorized service (MAS) people promised deliver on 27th (Saturday). I reached Mysore on 26th night. Saturday morning (27th) even before the workshop was open I was there chatting with watchman and enquiring about the opening timings.

At 9:00 clock the workshop gates where opened, I directly went inside looking for my Gypsy. There she was standing, I was amazed to she her in new set of shoes and alloys. I was literally jumping when I saw her.

Now check out how she looks.

Note: The bonnet was not locked when I clicked the above snap. The top work is yet to be completed.

Guys do let me know how she looks.

There is still some more work pending.

1. Hella rally light’s fitting. (Wiring work is done, only fitting is left).
2. Water Proof soft top is yet to be fitted.
3. Floor mat work is also pending.

I have finalized on the material for soft top and also the floor. Tomorrow measurement and stitching work will be done and fitting will be done on 1 July.

Wait for the final Photo shoot snaps.....
How much did you pay for the entire paint job ?

Re: My Gypsy Rebuild Project

Hello Krisha,

I have been a follower of this thread for a long time - but got enrolled into TBHP very recently. I was impressed with your restoration work so much so that I remebered to post a note of appreciation in this thread just after joining TBHP.

Great work and the restoration looks very neat and clean.
I hope to some day be able to own a Gypsy and do a restoration myself.

Hoping to see more updates on your rides soon - happy motoring!
