Amazing car.
All the very best for it dude!

Thanks abhijeetsng.

Things are again getting delayed. Painter did not paint the red color paint yet. Reason: Bad weather.
I just called him up, he told he will paint today, It’s a sunny day in Mysore today.

Krishna, Are you serious about the Pink? Its a base for the red? Whats the final color?

You seem to be sourcing the various components from all the right places.

Congrads on the progress.

Also do PM me contact details about the Marthahalli Number plate place.

I don’t have much idea about the painting. This is the first time am getting a vehicle painted.

Painter says base color, base color.
The painter started with light pink, then dark pink, then very dark pink. Now he will be painting Red. (Accent Viva Red color)
You can see the picture’s the first set is light pink then dark pink.

Regarding Number Plates:

You can source the plates from Near Rajeswari theathre on Airport Road near KEMP FORTE in Bangalore. The dealer's name is Mr. Rajashanker and you can call him on 9341230174.

Hinges will also be painted red. Door setting is not yet done completely. Once it’s done and also once the interiors are painted red, then two more coat red paints job will be done.

I guess it will be rectified once suspension overhauling is done.

Final paint job photos coming soon....

Hi,

The vehicle was ready for final coat on 10th. But I had asked the painter to wait till weekend, as I wanted to personally monitor the final paint job.

I had been to Mysore on 13. First thing I did that morning was, to keep my camera battery on charge. I wanted to cover the entire episode of paint job.

It was a bright sunny day. Me and painter along with few friends went to the DuPont computerized paint mixing shop and decided on the Shade. We bought 1 liter paint along with hardener liquid etc. We got the paint mixed at around 2 and we decided to start painting after 4.

I have clicked the snaps from start to the end of the paint job. I will post the pic’s once I reach home as am not carry the memory card with me right now.
