Dear Arka,

I think Bolero with DI-turbo Engine doesn't come with power steering.

I was keen on buying a new 4wd DI engine Bolero with a/c and power-steering one year back. I enquired at the Mahindra dealer in Cochin, they said, you can get only IDI engine with a/c and p/s. If you need 4wd with DI engine then no p/s or a/c. I even thought of buying a Di engined Bolero and fitting a/c, p/s in the open market. But on talking to the Sales manager of mahindra he said that the modification shall void the warranty. So I dropped the plan.

I don't think the 4WD version is. This could have changed recently. Did you get a recent quote for 4WD with PS and AC?
Sometimes dealers don't know what versions are available. I usually make them pull up the the Manufacturers price list which has the full range (Not the one usually printed by the dealer).

The XD3P version has always been available with AC/PS. It's the DI Turbo version which is not.

I again comfirmed at TVS, the Mahindra dealer in Cochin, Di-engined Bolero 4wd doesn't come with P/S or A/C. If you need P/S and A/c in 4wd Bolero then you will have to settle for the IDI XD3P engine.

Year old thread, but what happened? What did you finally buy? Is the 4WD Armada still available?
