[quote=KSM-Vtec;1400364]Ok guys here is the update -

Quote:
1. Have bought the tyres (Yokohama Geolander A/T S - 215/75/R15). the tyres will be installed on the stock rims and look like the perfect size for my application.(60% Highway 40% OTR)
I prefer the 205 size- less strain on the steering!

Quote:
2. Have got the break booster installed. I did manage to get the OEM booster that comes installed on the MPFI King. Getting the OEM booster helped a lot because i did not have to take the pain/risk of installing the esteem BB.
I think fitting the booster breaks is a must on every Gypsy! And its not rocket science to get it done!

Next should be retractable seat belts - again very easy!
Last- fit the freewheel hubs! Makes the drive on tarmac smoother!

Cheers!

I fitted mine with an A/C under the chasis! However- there were heating issues and the cooling was ok, so I went to a guy called Ramu's (andheri(E) and got a second condenser and fan fitted in front of the original radiator!
Perfect- Never had o/heating, and still lived in comfort in the Mumbai Summer! Mind you - I have driven thro door high water in the mumbai floods too! Never troubled.

Cheers!
PS _ I hope my CD's are beeing put to good use.

Need Your Help

Since most of the important mechanical/electrical work is done according to the workshops i have been going to, i think its time for me to get a second opinion so that i can be 100% sure that the Monster is in a perfect shape to do a 6-7k Kms trip to Ladakh.

Guys plz let me know if you know any VERY GOOD Mechanics/car Electricians who have worked on Gypsy's extensively.(only in Mumbai)

I need your suggestions quickly as i less than 12 days for doing any work that is required to be done.

Are there any guys in Mumbai who prepare gypsy's for the RAID???

Also plz do let me know if you know of any good carb tuners in Mumbai.

I am told that all gypsy's have this problem but i am sure the same can be sorted out by using good quality rubber parts and a lot of silicon.

Thanx a lot!!! I will for sure

The matt black was a cheap paint and since i did not have time to strip the entire vehicle and paint it in the final colour i decided to go matt black temporarily.
