Of course they are available.
But as you correctly say the Carters are hard to set up correctly and finding one in good
nick is difficult. But overhaul kits are definitely available if someone is restoring
to original specs.

Hi Spoke to him to see if he wrongly quoted the price, but no he is firm on the price and I feel this is PRICYYYyy.

I'm still looking for a chassis under 10K budget.

Dear Trammway - Pardon my ignorance, but by changing the chassis, the RTO would not approve the Re-registration of the vehicle. Atleast in Hyd, the documents become invalid. How are you planning to get this change on your RC?

Providing the old vehicle's RC book as scraped vehicle will enable the chassis to be transfered legally. Though there are alternate ways too.

9 hours with the Navigator - pain, pleasure, scalp is full of rust, pockets full of rust, Tee smells of petrol, fists red with ferrous oxide, right ankle swollen to the angle of operation, filling petrol every 30-40Km, am going to crash after a super day behind the hurricane...

What a wonder filled day with a legend, in its true sense...!!

Am going to sleep knowing she is very close to me...now

This thread is now officially transfered to JeepCaptain as he is going to continue the restoration of Navigator.

I have to do that to consolidate some of my other restoration and vehicles parked at home.
