I heard its a more powerful and torquey 118 engine.

I am sure someone can clarify this on behalf of Allan?

(hopefully such posts will solicit a reply and pictures of his actual power plant)

well,
here was a reason i was not coming up with the answer
still not 100% sure of its reliability

anyways its a 2.8 lt turbocharged engine
facing little transmission problems right now
should be sorted in a bit

I think would be Pajero's engine. To my knowledge, there is no other 2.8 Turbocharged Diesel engine available in india. What about the gearbox and transfer case ? have you mated the engine to the KMT90 using an adapter plate ?

There is a 2.8Liter turbo charger, direct injection engine that fits in the M&M bay [with little mods] , it produces 110 -115 BHP and huge amount torque needed to pull a loaded truck [good for off roading],it from a commercial vehicle.
I do not if Allan is using the same. But going by Allan's earlier mods ,on the Landy, it may be.

Get better soon.

So come on tell us all about the engine and what problems were encountered and how they were overcome.

Thanks.

What a monster!! The most intresting part is that you look like you are sitting in your couch at home watching telly when you are actually driving off-road. I have never seen anyone more calm and composed.

Get better soon buddy!

Cheers
Ankit
