Shibu, now the jeep looks like a real offroader. Any reason why you changed back to soft top?

Nice Jeep. Love those wheels. Those kind of rims should be available here as well.

It is quite unfortunate that we couldnt meet in Dubai, and see your jeep in person. Never mind, come to salalah with the little beast!!

Yellow YJ at Dubai International Rally 2010

Shibu's Jeep did duty as Marshall's Car at the 2010 Dubai International Rally. A few pictures of the Yellow Devil

Thanks Shibu.

Best Regards & Drive/Ride Safe

Ram

Ps. Shibu the winch was used for real to rescue a vehicle in distress. Not on the rally but whilst we were returning. The Pull was really awe inspiring

Also the other YJ - you might recognise it. It belongs to Saad (Championdada) who I think is your Facebook pal

Re: Jeep Wrangler YJ Buildup

Hi Shibu,

Entire transformation of your jeep from a simple limited edition YJ to a special edition is inspiring, I have read the complete thread and posts without a break, let me tell you simultaneously going through you LR defender story WB to Nagpur and then Coiambattor.

If ever I be abroad the only automobile I would, will be thinking is the Jeep Wrangler (esp the one below) and you have made my desire a "Must" now. What about till the time I am in India?... what else build one for myself.

Re: Jeep Wrangler YJ Buildup

@ JeepCaptain: That's one hell of a YJ you've got there....save for the tiny wing mirrors. Why did you discard the mirrors that come as OE for the YJ?

Hi Balaji, Thanks for looking at this thread. Yes it was a dream come true for me. I am happy that I have inspired or motivated you to get a Wrangler.

coloneljas Thank you so much. If you are talking about the big broad mirrors, I haven't discarded them. I have kept them safely. The current mirrors came with those doors. Hence kept it as it is.
Cheers
