Sorry guys i was little busy and lazy so didnt get time to upload the pics of my Monstar after few Mods.

So here is the story.

After getting bored with regular Offroad and one wheel in the air i thought of going extreme and decided to do SPOA. it was done in 2 days time. first pic of some testing at workshop.

after which i got MT Tyers but still i wasnt happy with the performance of SPOA so the next mod was Revolving shackel and yeah it works.

Here are few pics of R & D and result.

Now next Mods on list :
1) Tires
2) Engine Swap
3) Snorkel
4) Rear overhang Chop
5) Custome made bumper and guards (diff, Tcase, Petrol Tank)
and final will be a fresh paint job after Monsoon (complete strip down)

Will keep updating this thread from now onwards.

Cheers
Devang

Shackle Reversal? (S.R)

Read it on some US website that it can be dangerous, did not understand why. Did you do S.R on front or back housing? I presume front. What difference do you see? Is it w.r.t flex/articulation?

------Edit-----

^^ Khan, If I understood right, what Devang means by Rev.Shac is put the shackle from front bumper on the rear mount, near the GB side, and attach the leaf direct to the chassis mount up ahead. Rocky Road says a big NO to this, without saying clearly why. FYI - Have you noticed a TATA ACE? It has the same setup I tried to put in words...

---edit 2---- pic speaks more than words...
