Spike/David,

The army rims are 5.5j, for a 235 size tire ideally it should be 6.5j but i have seen a lot of people use the army rims in 5.5j with 235 width tire and it has worked fine.

I am not sure if the army rims came in any other width. I do know the offset is changed in some army rims but as far as i know not the width.

Cheers

@david refer the pics on leaf spring, aren't the spring clips supposed to be open/free from one end?

This setup where the 2 main leaves are looped on each other is known as the MILITARY WRAP.

The Spring Clips are either open on both ends with a bolt running through both ends, or they are crimped on the Leaf Spring, without binding it.

OEM Specs are welcome.

Congratulations.

Saw ur Jeep yesterday. Looks cool.

Even I had asked the painter about the bumper paint. he said he would do the finishing paint job post electrical and mech work. I hope he doesnt take another month for that.

The colour looks amazing.
