Sure thing buddy. The package arrived at my office yesterday and I've not opened it as yet. Will get the documents delivered to the Mayapuri guy on Saturday for sure.

I really appreciate the gesture and will try my best to make it.
Cheers

Tavera Seats

Congratulations on the fantastic restoration of the MM550. I have been following the thread and all the posts avidly albeit without any posts from my side. All in all a restoration well done.

A query regarding the Tavera seats: I was at CST last Sunday and saw the seats. I wish to replace the front seats of my Bolero with the Tavera seats.
I would like to know, what is your feedback regarding the seats? Was it an easy job getting the seats fixed? When you say altered, what exactly was the alteration done?
Hope it is not too much of a bother. Thanking you in anticipation.

Regards
Gautam.

Thanks man,

To be honest with you i have test driven my jeep just once with these seats on so no feedback on them, but they sure do feel good sitting in them.

It took around 5 hours to get them marked out and fit , what we altered was the height we cut the base of the seats off which took out 2 inchs and then welded the holders back, we also had to make new holes in the body to fit these seats in,
if your looking to fit it in you bolero i dont think you will need to alter them. The guys at cst will also fit it for you

Nicely done. One of the best looking 550s I've come across. Nice colour scheme of grey and black. Good job this. Congratulations!

WOW!!! I love the stock look of your 550. Be ready for lot of scratches if you plan to take it offroad. I also have the metallic finish and scratches are so visible. Enjoy your Jeep!!!!!

Thanks

David your Jeep looks fantastic. A few queries:-
1. Why is your tail pipe so close to the end piece (rear bumper area)?
2. Doesn't your Jeep come with a bonnet latch (on the grille)?
3. Haven't you placed rubber beadings between the grille and fender?
4. I believe your spare wheel mounting bracket is non-army type, if yes then get an army type bracket or your tailgate will crack.

Nice'n'clean Jeep. The color choice is just great.
As Spike suggested, do something to beef up the spare wheel mount on that door. During offroading, the rear tail lights may get damaged, so are you planning to add some more tail lights as there are holes left besides the door level.

David, nice choice of color and the finish is awesome. As per me the soft top could have been of better material to gel with the excellent jeep. The rims look best in neatly done black. Jealous is the word.

OT- Is that a harley in first two pictures?

Regards

Pranav
