Classic case of foot in mouth.

High Altitude World Record

The modified vehicle used in the expedition.

On April 21, 2007, the Chilean duo of Gonzalo Bravo and Eduardo Canales drove their modified Suzuki Samurai (SJ413) up Ojos del Salado, past the previous record set by a Jeep at 6,646 meters (21,804 ft), setting a new record for the highest altitude attained by a four-wheeled vehicle at 6,688 meters (21,942 ft).
The Samurai in question benefitted from wheel, tire, and suspension changes, and a supercharged G16A 4-cylinder underhood. It was the third attempt for the two man team, after encountering weather difficulties on the first attempt and an engine fire in the second. The previous record holder's team lead by Matthias Jeschke riding a Jeep Wrangler, left a sign reading "Jeep Parking Only: All others don't make it up here anyway". The Chilean team found the sign, blown down by strong winds, and brought it back to civilization as a souvenir.
This Record was duly Certified by the Guinness World Record in July 2007.

That's what a Gypsy is capable of. When it comes to off-roading, "it's not the size that matters, but technique".

Now it looks good with the spare wheel inside. Thought the previous one would have tipped rearwards considering how light Gypsy is.

Yatha owner, thatha vehicle. Cool gypsy.

Man! This guy sure drives a vehicle matching up to his physical attributes!

So, what are the latest mods you speak of, Torque-Active?!
And those branch deflectors - what benefit do they provide, at the back of the vehicle?

Fantabulous! Gypsy worth killing for...

I am new to the technical aspects and functionality of the mods. But looking at the pictures above, I am all in awe for this Monster.

Mr. Arjun, you have inspired me; the very first thing I will do after I submit this post is go join a GYM and I will intensify my search for a GYPSY.

Man this combo is awesome . The zuk and Arjun have grown muscles together making other gypsies and gypsy owners look tiny.

This GYSPY is sure a looker, but If I remember correctly, in 4guna4 challenge, the 4x4 of this one failed. I do not know the details though.

We caught about 4 ft of air and landed on the left axle sheering off the bolts holding the front drive axles together. The front diff tubes were bent too.

The first image was of the jump,..in the second image look at the angle of the front right wheel.
