thats our support for his hard work!
Surely understand that. Wishing a very good luck to Thar & congratulations to Dabhar Sir & his entire team envolved in making this possible.

I think this will be the first time that a company has made someones dream come into reality by using a forum like Team-BHP.

All depends on their pricing. They can't rely on rural market for this as the average farmer from say Punjab or Haryana will complain that it is too dusty with the soft top and average is not good so they will buy indica or some other little box.

This is going to be the Chelsea tractor of India with city guys buying it to fulfill their childhood dreams of owning a jeep.

Along with Mr. Behram, we should also thank other top mgmt people and the engineers of M&M who made the THAR happen.

Let's not start handing out the bouquets yet. Americans have a saying, "It ain't over until the fat lady sings".

The day your local Mahindra dealer starts accepting Thar booking... wait that reminds me of Gurkha bookings with a year long wait. The day we have the first delivery of Thar, that is the time to celebrate.

I guess its time to celebrate the moment the price and variants are announced and if it is indeed affordable for most.
I was wanting to suggest this but has already been said by Parm and others - Jeep enthusiasts and others from T-BHP going to the Auto Show - please do meet Mr Dhabar and thank him for his efforts.

Yes till the homologation is complete and the than the minimum order requirement [if set by the company] is met, we should not think much, I but can not help dream about it.
Can see the final vehicle. if the minimum order quantity is set conservatively than it may happen.
There will be people who are exited but very few actually putting down the money.

I just need the 4WD GB, TC and Front Differential please! Have got my "Thar" otherwise!

Interiors - the meters and dash is similar to Bolero Storm. The same goes for the suspension too.
