ahhh Jeep soup for the soul!

The answers that we get from spike are to make us evolve further through long silent periods, which are punctuated by zen riddle type of answers.

And yet we keep coming back for more climbing to the top of the hill asking for a Thar launch date, only to have the masters from M&M strike us on the forehead with sticks and scream kill...kill...kill.

I mean how stupid is this Thar manufacture and deadline debate. How long should we keep striving for an answer?

One would have mastered zen archery by now instead.

In terms of sales volume, would THAR 4WD touch the 1000 mark in India?

Because as you rightly pointed out, Spikey is the man who states somethings and we counter the same .

In todays world understanding a slalom or a multiple slalom or a elk test is just google material.

OT:

Has anyone tried taking the good old amby or fiat through a slalom? Very interesting ..

The old Sholavaram track had a section....

I have been watching this guy from the day 1 he joined TBHP, then met him at the annual OTR, and we have been interacting on and off since then through internet. And i can vouch for the above statement.

There are certain info which as an employee of a car manufacturer he cant reveal. Launch date being one such thing, unless its officially approved. Till then, all they can give us is indirect hints. So in real world company NDA's will not tolerate leaking info like launch dates.

So guys lets cut this kid some slack please

Obviously my friend; I definitely did not mean to hurt you or your views, Its just that you are more proficient when it comes to certain theoretical explanations, some of which I agree and some I do NOT

Let be patient & respect confidentiality

Guys,
I am seeing some of us are getting impatient about launch date, booking and all. Though we all would like to know when is it likely to be launched, honestly trust me even spike wouldn't know that probably! There are way to many internal and external departments involved and it takes time as the process itself is time consuming.

Guys, take it this way, Thar was up and ready from concept to production and export in just about an year. Even though it shares most of the parts trust me this is an achievement and by no terms one can say Mahindra is lethargic. Heck, most of the reputed builds took about an year on this forum , here you are talking about new product development guys!

Please do not take spike as a official spokes person, he is an enthusiast like us and happens to work for the manufacturer and giving us the information that is max permissible.

So no hard feelings!! Lets be patient.

p.s- Show me one person on this forum from a manufacturer who went public while vehicle is in development? I don't think so there are many or any!
