@Nishanth what paint have you applied on the Wheel arches/Fender extensions? It is an FRP part, i feel the paint will peel off after some period of time,

Nishanth,
Things have come out very well man!! You new weels will ad to the beauty. Waiting for that.

Whats that black thing near gearbox top cover? Is it some special material you have used for heat and noise insulation? Doesn't look like regular metal. Looks neat.

Those are the new Ambassador headlights I guess. I got same ones for mine too earlier.
The fender colour might peel off. They are best fitted in original blacks. It came up well in mine one like that.
The jeep is coming up well.. Congrats

I did ask my painter the same question but he said he has applied fiberglass/plastic primer before so that the paint will not peel off.. lets see time will tell

Thanks Vinod
Will be most probably fitting the wheels/tires today.
I dint get which part you are actually referring to. Is it the black thing in the last pic of my previous post? If so then it is a standard part which came with the army vehicle.

Yes these are original HM spares and are of Amby.

The rear local wheel arch extension were originally black plastic but the finishing was poor. Coun't get get a original Mm part for back. But the front wheel arch are original mm max pick up one and original was silver finish/unpainted with final finish color. I did ask for black but i was told all spares come in silver finish and one has to paint the final color by the MM spares guy!
As far as the paint peel of is concerned well like i said before it shoun't as per my painter but 'keeping fingers crossed' time will tell.

Cheers

Nishanth

@Nishanth your vehicle does not have a door check arm nor a door hinge stopper? Also are the front fenders non-army type?

Hi Nishanth

The Jeep is coming out damn cool. Regarding the rear door, I was browsing the net and came across a site which has some cool accessories for the Gypsy.

ZUK-N-OVATIONS - A Suzuki Adventure Company

The rear door/bumper design espesially was to my liking (pic below). If you know someone who is good at metal work, maybe he could fabricate one for you.
