Blue Thunder, Thanks a ton mate. It Alleppey Beach in Kerala.
You are right the Indian Isuzu is 2.0L but I have an old Japanese made engine which is "ISUZU 4FB1 4CY,1817CC,66/5000 OHC "

This Gypsy is been running on Diesel for last 16 years. and Gypsy is only 23 years young.

Hey SHibu!

how are you?

Gypsy looks neat. I hate the diesel though.

How is the other project going? I am desperately waiting for a new thread on it.

SirAlec, Thanks mate. The other project is going to start soon. May be in another few weeks. I am really excited with that. But need to sort out some logistical issues before I can start it. I might need lots of your help during the course of that project. Will be in touch with you.

what material have you used to cover the drivers cabin, is it a permanent fix hardtop?

The flat roof looks good but then i guess the back benchers cant be seated easily.

Stunning pictures! No mods, not even alloy wheels, just a pure work machine. Your Gypsy looks very purposeful.

Hi guys,
I want to make my gypsy look a little better, and lift it a bit.
Please take a look at the 2 attachments, and give me your opinions!

I've come up with a photoshop render (it has a few errors), of how I'd like the vehicle to look - I can always incorporate more changes, based on your feedback.

The main differences are in paint, wider rubber, and snorkel.
I also think i should add a skid plate, and some other underbody protection.

Let me know hwat you think!

Its the Army canvas but in black - hard to source but is available if you know the right people in Mayapuri.

And yes, you are right. Hence, i intend to remove the benches at the back and instead, just have two mid sized bean bags placed or a large one which can be used to sleep in as well
