Hi dude.. nice to hear that you bought a new gypsy. I think yours is the only brand new Gypsy in Trivandrum. Where are you in Trivandrum? We guys (all gypsy and willy's people) used to meet every weekends. Why don't you join us? Mine is also a King. Gives 10 in city and 12 in highways. Used 2 drive to my native (380kms away) on holidays. Great Vehicle.. and the best ever vehicle for off-roading.

Vinod bhai.. its not really hard like you think. But for people in back seat, its a bumpy ride. I never had to use moov or volini after my longdrives. Even if I feel like tired after long hours, i don't mind cauz i know am driving a GYPSY!! Every ride is a fresh ride for all gypsians.

@SirAlec

No i didn't retain the 4*4 as i had to alter down the front differential to fit the diesel engine so its now only a rear wheel drive gypsy.

DIY of Projectors is like i fitted the projector in the headlamp assembly of the older HH ambition.This projector needs H7 bulb.

@Parm

Actually, projectors helps in spreading the light on the road evenly.
Area covered is more than the stock ones but it needs a powerful bulb to throw more light.i m working on extracting more brightness by fitting a relay in d circuit.

Any suggestions are welcome.

And m also planning to install angel eyes around d projectors.

Got the engine from Mayapuri in Delhi.

Hi Uniq62

I have the same engine in my Gypsy but I have retained the 4x4. You need to add a leaf in the front & rear suspension and modify the sump along the lines of the orignal gypsy engine sump. It works perfectly.

Cheers
