Triggercool,

A cool looking gypsy. Liked the rim painted black along side door and B pillar. It lends muscle to BF good rich tyres.

I dont have much knowledge on Gypsys but i think MPFi came only after 2000.

The Gypsy's for civilians did come after 2000-01, but the Armed forces and the Govt. departments got it earlier. I heard this from an Army personnel when I had gone to the Indo Tibetan border which is 250 Km's from Shimla a few years back. But not too sure about this news.

Regards,

I do a bit of deep water fording once in a while in my 2000 Gypsy king.Problem is the diffs and the 4wd Gearbox ingest a lot of water,Any fixes?
How deep has anyone taken the gypsy to?

I have taken it to 3/4 wheel underneath, never had any issue of water entering the mechanical bits. But then mine was a 410W 95 model. Any breather tubes at tranny? I honestly dont remember now the details.

Do you mean you have water entering the transfer box? Diff, do you have a free wheeling hub? heard free wheeling hub (after market) ones have the issue due to missing seals.

KSM - I know which one you've seen - its got a metallic green paint, same tyres, really nice alloys, and a jerry can at the back, along with the remnants of an external roll cage (i think)... The guy who onws the gypsy lives on pali naka, close to my house...

You can get a black ragtop made at any seatwala ... I got mine made from one at Kurla CST, but am not too happy with the quality and finishing..

Currently i too am looking for a guy who does a good job at a decent price..
