Depends on usage too, I guess. My Gypsy was used purely for touring and no OTRs. So locking/unlocking was easy. Till I reach the bad terrain in the high mountains they remain unlocked; once there, they stay locked till I get back down.
I think then I will give it a skip

Re: Maruti Gypsy Pictures

Excellent eye for great photos; IMO, dialling down the artificial colours will make them even better!

Re: Maruti Gypsy Pictures

Artificial includes things like over saturation of the kind visible in photo 4; and another example is the difference in the vehicle colour in photo 1 and 2. Photo 3 on the other hand is well balanced. Perhaps because there are fewer greens and blues in the frame to oversaturate.

Re: Maruti Gypsy Pictures

Just playing around for a couple of minutes in my post processor:-):

Which one is truer to life? Only you can say, since you were there.

Which one is more pleasing? A very subjective matter. But post processing is a wonderful tool that is also very powerful.

Excellent composition though; not something that PP can accomplish, it takes an eye and legs willing to do the walking to the point of view.

Found this at a local tinker's place. Seems interesting, but not something I'd want.

Awesome pictures rkbharat! I read some bit about your solo trip to Sandakhphu and Mustang Valley on Facebook. Are you planning to write travelogue of the trip. It would be great if you share the experience.

This is no where close to reality, I guess you need to visit mustang valley in monsoon, that's all I can say.

Re: Maruti Gypsy Pictures

Very nice; aspect ratios of more width for the same height as these would also be very interesting.

Lovely pics schakravarthy.
Could you advise:
1. what leaf springs and shocks you have for your suspension?
2. Offset on your wheels, wheel size and & tyre size?

Thank you.

1) Stock leaf springs all around. Dampers are a combo of Innova rear dampers at the front and Xylo rear dampers on the rear. Provides a much comfortable ride.

2) -30 offset, tyre size being 235/75 R15.
