Took the Gypsy home for a test-drive this evening. Allan had installed his own alloys and 31" cooper tires to give me a chance to feel how the car would perform with these oversize tires.

First some pictures:

Really good looking! But these oversize tyres are a overkill for the articulation and that engine

Yup! totally agree on Jaggu Bhai's comment.

Its uses a puny 1.3 litre hatch engine. rethink on tire if you want it to perform well. Keep it if its just a road car.

Yeah yeah we all know that. I'm waiting for my 235 GT Savero tires but until then I am going to get as much attention as I can Loving it...

Definitely slower acceleration and limited top speed because the engine just can't spin up these tires. But it is good for "cruising" around town and giving everyone something to look at.

Allan, awesome job, as always!
It ain't something you wouldn't know, but just a suggestion.
Could we not have that checkered aluminium plate at the rear also painted black? It would go better with the overall black n white combination of the car. Do you agree? Or maybe its just my eyes
But seriously, you are gifted! Fantastic outcome!
Cheers,
Deepak

The HT really spoils it for me. Just feels so out of place. BUT, when I keep that aside, it really screams trouble. If I see that in my mirror - I'll get out of the way, pronto. Great, clean work again.
