Was just wondering which Bimal showroom you bought your Gypsy from. Also, do you get it serviced there as well? Just asking, given all the negative reviews of Bimal service I've read on the forum. Thanks!

Congrats!!! Great looking gypsy. Great to see the Gypsy community growing

If planning on using her for long distance drives/offroading make sure you

1. Replace your seats with better ones (pref with lumbar support)
2. Install rear CFLs
3. Add free-wheeling hubs to the front

Goodluck and many happy miles of driving!!

Hey Rattan,

Thats a nice Gypsy you got for yourself. Can we have a few pics of the Engine bay and the interiors. I was typically interested in the dashboard view with the new Headlight adjustment swith that has been introduced in the newr Gypsy's.

Regards,

Hi everyone,
Booked a brand new Gypsy king BSIV hard top- white, a few days back. Expecting delivery on Dhanteras- 3.11.10. This would be my weekend car- mainly for offroading. I ride a Toyota corolla to work. Do I need to change the stock tyres? What size and make? Are tubeless tyres suitable for offroading?

Hi Anurag,
I've changed the stock tyres on my Gypsy with BFGoodrich.
Try upgrading to Yokohama Geolanders A/T (215, 75, R15).
They offer you best of both worlds (On & Off road).
If you plan to use your Gypsy for pure off-road, you may even think of M/Ts.
Cheers,
Deepak

PS: There is a seperate thread for these queries in the 4X4 Technical Section http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/4x4-te...es-thread.html

Re: Brand New Gypsy King

Thanks Starter for all the info. Maruti appears to be indifferent to its Gypsy customers. There was an indefinite wait for the Gypsy. I booked a 4WD Scorpio vlx instead. Had it delivered on the 17th. of Dec. What a fantastic car!!!
