Hi Guys,

My Bro has been working on his MG410 for almost 3 months now, things done are :
  • Radiator changed AGAIN to a MM550 one,
  • Leaf Springs Realigned
  • Made a custom bar to hold the shaky front seats.
  • Fetched a set of chrome rim rings (searched for that almost tow months)
  • Entire interior floor scrubbed and a thick layer of rust proof paint applied.
  • Changed the headlamp wiring set and all the rely changed
  • New set of bulbs for both the head lamps and the fog lights (Philips 100/130 rally for both)
  • Basic painting for underbody
  • Full rubbing and Turtle wax polishing to entire body
  • SELF FABRICATED FLAG POLE (Took a heck of a time/research for the right materials...)

Hi Sunil,
I don't think you get 235/75 size in BF Goodrich tyres - can you please re-check?!?

Btw, the vehicle looks very smart! Mine wasn't too different, a couple of weeks ago (my brother insisted I convert it to a half top)!

I'm running on 215/75 BFG's by the way.. And if you're tyres are 235, then I'm very jealous of your brother!!

Hi Ladak.Imran,

You might be right, he may have just the 215 ones, Did try to see the pics to find the size, but was unable to do so even with 12MP shots !!, will check & reconfirm. He has a Half top too, & I just LOVE it but he feels that the half top lets in rain water that will trickle in to the cabin & also the rear sets get awfully dirty with them, so he has the current setup I call Burkha for Palaya Pati

Could you post some pics of the steering wheel ?

And also what is that rust proof paint?

complete list of mods done:

• New Radiator
• New 4 stock Shock absorbers
• Four Tires 215x75x15 BF good rich ALL TERRAIN
• New front & real axle with new star joints.
• New Soft top
• New Oil & Air filter
• New center locking installed (Auto cop)
• New Clutch plates
• Lots of repair like (Summing up to a total of 25K INR)
• Seat fittings / mountings
• Hand break
• All Oil change
• Both Gearbox reset
• Steering box reset
• Rear Door callipers resetting
• Fuel lines & filter replace
• Piston rings replaced
• Many coupling rubber replaced
• Wheel hubs cleaned
• Brake pads replaced
• Lockable glove box (dash board) lid replaced Many electrical fittings wires & switches replaced

• Sony VCD Music system / Sony Speakers (Two numbers) fixed
• Window glass and FRONT WIND SHIELD Tinted
• All fuses replaced to original ones
• Custom bar and foam board (with white vinyl) to hold the front driver cabin roof properly
• Seat belts installed
• New IND number plates (Back plate already bent in a OTR and instead a sticker there now)
• MM Hooks on either side of bonnet to hold it in place (like the looks actually)
• Shakle lift done (self designed and fabricated Shakles something like dogbone)
• New full Silencer installed
• Carburetor overhauled with new carburetor Major kit
• Distributor overhauled
• wheel bearings replaced / Wheel Greasing
• Lock right Diffrential lock 1510 at the rear
• Brake bleeding + distributor tuning
• Distributor to spark plug (high capacity wire)
• Spacer + Snorkel fabricated (not yet painted and fitted)
• New Decals
• 4 Mud flaps
• Wind tone Bosch horn (with relay)
• Electric engine fan
• Stock fan changed from 4 blade to SIX blade fan
• New NGK spark plugs

He wants to go in for a Gurkha or an other DI, the price quoted is ACTUAL incurred 2,65,000 the lucky one who grabs it eill surely enjoy the time & energy spent in to all the mods & fixes that my bro put in for the last say 6 months or so ...
