The 4th pic is taken at the Devlali Fire Temple. And the 5th and 6th one are clearly from the Auto Expo car. This is in reference to the first post.

Spike,

Can you confirm if the the "Italian Job" (the DFO HT) will be straight fit for the Indian Thar

If so can you please point the me contact of the Italian Dealer.

I will get in touch with them and see the feasibility of sending some to India

Seriously there are a lot of possibilities for those amoung us who are business minded. For that matter a lot of FRP products manufacturing for Europe in many fields are being carried out in UAE and could be the Italians are getting theirs done here as well

Best Regards & Drive/Ride Safe

This is not good news...very unfortunate. I do not feel like spending 1/2 lakh building a HT or waiting a month for a shop to do the work. It would be ironic if Italians were getting their HTs made in India.

Ram, the HT will be a direct fit (hassle free). In case you get to know about the supplier, do let me know.

I agree. No hard top, no THAR for me, unfortunately. I guess i will have to be happy with the 'compromise', the Scorpio AT 4WD.

@spike. No HT will be show stopper for many. I had send Vinod a link to the thread about a fibre HT maker in Bangalore whom Sree had met. Can we convince him to make an after market hard top for the Thar? People can buy directly from his company without Mahindra having to worry about it.

I hope M&M comes up with a hard top option through dealers, if not at launch date, atleast within 2-3 months from there. This is absolutely a important requirement.
