Re: Xtreme Power does a Scorpio Powered MM550

Allan,
am stealing your exterior rollcage design (with your permission, of course) for my mm540 - bcoz i need an overhead carrier cum spare tire holder. the rear frp door on my hardtop mm540 could not bear the spare tyre/rim combo weight.
any ideas to make the spare tyre stay in the rear would be appreciated highly, especially from you.
another doubt - i plan to make my ice fitment by moulding the speakers/subwoofer/system enclosures into the OE Roplas hardtop itself. will frp bear the weight of the ICE - also will it bear the thump from the sub ? or can i use aluminium sheet for this ? suggestions please !!!
lastly, if i had enough vitamin M, your garage would be the 1st place to redo my mm540 into a proper jeep, hope it soon happens...

Tejas had created a thread where these designs were discussed in details with pictures, you might want to take a look there. No (R) infringements there, most of these stuff are available on net sometimes even with the exact specs

Mr.Jagat Nanjappa, you are my favourite hero in the 90s. i still have old indian auto journals where you and your wife (anita) fly in indsuzukis and rd350s in rallies.
BTW, i cant find the thread you said from tejas, i searched but could not find them. so pls can you show some links about exterior rollcages, overhead carriers etc.,. thanks, regards. (am still pinching my hand to realise that i am speaking with an indian rally legend)

Am not Jagat Nanjappa! He is lovingly called Jaggi IIRC NOT Jaggu. Anyways i also share same feeling towards him.

Sorry thread was created by Parm and here you go http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/4x4-te...-cage-4x4.html

Re: Xtreme Power does a Scorpio Powered MM550

I really enjoyed the detailed pics in this post

For the last few months, i am really getting tempted to pick up a similar off roader. Have even started searching thru the classifieds of t-bhp. I am in the R of the R&D stage at the moment.

Seeing these beauties is bringing out a sense of impulsive desperation within me ;-)

Who knows, maybe very soon I may be seeking the help of several who are posting here.

Lovely jeep by the way. Exactly the way i admire them
