@Silverwood

Did you notice the number plates? From the OP's location, it is Dhaka, Bangladesh and I really don't have a clue how the importing stuff works out between India & Bangladesh.

Didn't know India still allowed importing old cars except as part of transfer of residence.

Good Stuff! Good Stuff!! 5500 USD its quite tempting...Hold on guys don't sell your SUV's out Govt has not done any changes in Import policies I guess.

A. I don't understand one basic and simple thing, all the neibhouring countries/places like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Srilanka have most of the Imported vehicles even I guess Nepal and Bhutan have umpty number of vehicles way more than in India why??

B. Do we need to continue the Import policy with hopeless 100% duty and the other illogical stigma.

Why not someone is allowed to buy the stuff what they want, buyer has no problem .. seller has no issues to sell why not the super bikes/cars, SUV's on our Indian roads? I wish to own a HUMMER before I die or should go abroad and own one there and then...
