Hi Sid,

Just had a chat with sales guy (scorpio) about the Thar at Koncept. He was saying on road in Delhi 7lakh. Is this what 5,99,000 plus road tax and insurance come to? Or will it be closer to 6.5 lakhs? He categorically states that this is for the top end i.e. CRDE Version.

in a very competetive auto market like India, it's really nice to see a manufacturer like M&M making the best use of a forum like BHP to gauge customer requirement and bring in a product addressing a sort of niche market. I just spoke to India Garage in Blr. They have no clue of pricing, expecting that in a week or two. They have one piece in showroom that has come for RTO approval. This piece is not yet approved for TD. Will have to wait for that.

You are not alone, for us poor folks in BLR if we are not even getting alloys at 7+ OTR price, how will it make sense? That too for a soft top, no ac, life style vehicle which will be 2nd or 3rd vehicle at home. My dreams are royally shattered

Confused on the pricing. I understood that it is 5.99ex delhi but what does it convert to in Kar OTR?

Great colors and good way to promote the Thar but just waiting to understand what is standard fitment and the amount to spend on after fitment?

Even if we consider the 6 lakhs ex showroom price. The tax will be close to 90K and add another 15-18K for insurance. The total OTR will cross 7 lakhs in Bangalore.

I am awaiting the customisation options that will be made available from the company.

Expect anything between 7.2 to 7.5 lakhs in BLR. State Tax, transportation, Road tax, insurance etc
