Automax is not available in any stores. In Chennai, its available with a Guy, he will door deliver it(like Amway). If you want I can arrange one for you, if you are in chennai.

I dont think it will work for you, if your car is new. But if your car crossed more than 50k, it may do magic. (But I DONT believe it will give the claimed 28% more mileage, actually mileage is decreased for me. It just restored the lost power of my Safari, may be more(!!!))

Automax, Nanotech, Cosway, H2OIL, F2-21 and EEFuel all are same, but under different names in different countries like MP6TY.

***H2OIL is the inventor, F2-21 is the product name, Nanotech is the bottle manufacture, Automax is the distributor, Cosway is the marketer.

Engine Photos

OK Friends, My SAFARI is in the workshop and here are the Effects of ADDITIVES vs MANUAL De-corbonization.

My 2004 SAFARI Engine:
A Comparison of (Fuel/Oil/Engine) Additives-pict0020.jpg

The OIL SUMP after OWS 210 Flush:
A Comparison of (Fuel/Oil/Engine) Additives-pict0034.jpgA Comparison of (Fuel/Oil/Engine) Additives-pict0035.jpg

The Engine Head Cover:

The Engine Head:

A Comparison of (Fuel/Oil/Engine) Additives-pict0116.jpg

The CrankShaft:

The Valve:

So thease are the result of one of the best Oil Flush(OWS210) and Fuel System Cleaner in the world. Tomorrow I am going to MANUALLY De-carbonize the Engine. I will update the Photos after a clean. Here is a sample:

Also note that, My car never runs without Additive Fuel(IFTEX, AutoMax, MP6TY, OWS) and this is my condition!!!

So, all the additives and flushing engine are useless.

How and where can we get manual de-carbonization done? Any risks of doing it?

You took apart an engine to clean it?
Thats not a crankshaft,bro. Its a camshaft.

Thanks Nitrous sir, I just can't remember the name for 1 hour(stupid, me!!!).

Yes, I re-assembled the engine for Manual-Decarb as the workshop head is my friend.

Its not like that. I still believe that, OWS 210 worked well. bUT it was not able to Remove the carbon 100%, especially from the Valve, Sump etc...We cant judge the function of the Flush, unless I opened and show you the ENGINE BEFORE THE FLUSH(!!!). (Anyway, the fuel injector is also has carbon deposits(stupid OWS360, IFTEX, Automax, Premium Fuels, MP6TY - None of them cleans the fuel injector 100% - I will post the photos tomorrow, if demanded))

Anyway I am going to open the Oil Strainer(is it the correct term?) and Oil Hoses tomorrow. Will post pictures if possible.

But Manual De-carb is the BEST option and it cost me around Rs. 5000 for a Safari(or atleast me/including oil, filters etc..!!!).

i have done it in my Friend's workshop amd I trust him 100% as I know his brain very well. (eventhough I stayed all time in the workshop whenever he is working on my Safari - To learn this crackshaft/camshaft things!!)

Thanks Jennifer. Please post the pictures.

I agree that with additives the condition would be better. But, I expected a much better outcome after believing half of the marketing done by these trusted brands and testimonials by users.

ibm_jennifer: I would just like to say thanks for going to all this trouble (taking pictures and all, not cleaning ur engine !) . I think this does cast some serious doubts on why we are pouring money into additives.

Say for instance, without *any* additives, the carbon coating is higher, will it really make any difference, or can someone shed some light on the efficacy of using additives.
