Not to be a party pooper, but I found the new forum colors a bit too dark, and a bit impersonal. I liked the clean red lines, and white background with black text on it.

Superb work to bring all the erstwhile hidden threads to the fore. The new design looks good and in keeping with the current website design trends of keeping 2D shapes, subtle colors and a WordPress like design. Great Work and Many Happy Birthday to all!!

Do we also see a revamp in the sticker design?

The new red-lining logo is not seen on the forum page or Even the small icon in the tab is now different for the home-page as against the Forum page.

Exactly the same thing struck me. I think the favicon may have been missed out for the CMS of forum section whereas it is been set properly for the main website.


Absolutely wonderful effort and rejuvenating experience. Hats off to you guys. So that explains the issues some members were facing these days. Let us say Happy 9th Birthday to entire Team-BHP community and lets keep the good motos of the forum flying high setting higher standards day by day.

A few points:



1. Nice flashing of the articles in the top section. It could be used to flash important articles as well.




2. Merchandise seems to be coming up at 2 places. Probably to fill the spaces? How would it be if the RHS vertical merchandise is made into the flashing of all merchandises sequentially instead of at 2 places?

3. Road Safety is the utmost important aspect and Team-BHP promotes it in every nook and corner. So why chuck it into a small block that is squeezed in between near the bottom?
Consider this: Place Road Safety as a long block in place of Travelogues or Help Articles+Merchandise blocks. Place the other blocks accordingly. Can arrange Help Articles and Tech Stuff as parallel blocks side by side below them at the bottom.

This look is progressive, Without loosing out on what ticks the design has been refreshed which does not make one feel lost yet gives a feeling of new-ness. Excellent design change.

Change is not always good. This one, however, is refreshing! I love how the homepage gets a new look, with all the important information visible right where you want it, but once you enter the forum section, it holds the tried and tested version of something we've all come to love and adapt to just fine.
