Dozen.

Few, presumably, will understand the significance of this landmark.

Children at the cusp of teen-hood. The Biblical Jacob's 12 sons. The Pandava's 12 year exile. A young Jew's Bar Mitzvah. Shakespeare's Twelfth Night.

Twelve years may seem insignificant. But in those years, our Forum has gone from strength to strength. It's hard to believe that twelve years ago on this day, a young man and his crew realized their dream, forged out of their love for all things automotive. A dream that a whole lot of us share. A dream that sustains the test of time. A dream that's unlikely to fade away. A dream that has given us purpose.

When You get to hoon around in something special..


When you carve beautiful corners in landmark cars


When you kick back after a 1000 km drive


When you need to soak it up one last time


When you get to hang with racing royalty


When your car isn't the only thing that needs a refuel


Team-BHP's Twelfth is a landmark that will be remembered. Happy birthday, Team-BHP!

Oh boy, what a journey its been.
A dozen years of team-bhp, and guess what, I have been a part of the journey for the past 11 years.
I can't help but notice, how we have changed.
I still remember my intro post

Hi,
I am a new user here. I am 25 years old and working as an IC design engineer. Cars are my passion, and i am here to find out more about them!

Just one small line. And that is it! We were a very small forum then, and just trying to find out place. I wonder, if any of us imagined that in a decade we will be one of the strongest voices in the Indian Automotive scene!

Way back then, the magazines ruled the roost. Infact, one of my earliest threads on this forum was about where to find Auto magazines in Delhi. And now, those year old editions with speculations, and pictures we glossed over, lie silent in the attic.

Way back then, when getting the monthly magazine fix was a top agenda, I never thought that one day I would be clicking similar stuff, and actually writing reviews for Team-BHP.

Well, to be fair, that is not the only thing that amazes me. I look back and think how Team-BHP shaped our travel bug. How I met so many new people, and made a lot of wonderful friends.

Slowly and slowly, the forum has grown bigger and better, and yet the spirit remains the same!

Saving the best for the last. I also got the chance to review one of my dream cars, the Safari!



And its not just the reviews. Being with team-bhp also gave me the opportunity to do some serious track racing!

The Forum has grown leaps and bounds in the past decade, and what a journey it has been. And the future, well its bigger and better, as we march forward. Its 12 years now, and I guess one day it will be the Silver jublee, and we will again look back with wonder and awe!

Lovely - I get to pen down right after the crew! What more to say when someone is awake and read thru team-bhp at 3.30 AM, over the weekend. When I joined, t-bhp was just a place to get some help / details. 7 years down the line and 5000+ posts, I never thought I'll contribute this much or even be this active. Team-bhp just became a way of life.

Have said this before as well, t-bhp did help me mould my personality too. Learnt how to be respectful in a virtual environment, make friends who you have never seen or even talked to, share happiness & sorrows, the sense of belonging, be proud of the team's achievement though you are miles away from the action, choose some "special" automotive just because you have that "backing" and what not!

Another year passes and t-bhp has only advanced in terms of it's reach. PROUD to be a BHP'ian! Hats Off to one and all who contributed the forum to remain as powerful, helpful and a high quality place to hang around.

Congratulations and Happy Birthday to Team-Bhp. Lovely thread to take all members down the memory lane. I have always liked penning down a few words on different topics. Team-Bhp is the platform that has helped perfectly combines two things I love. Writing and cars.

Thanks to all the members for building such a great community of knowledge and the moderators for keeping everything clean and relevant. No easy feat.

Ok my wife comes by and asks- "What's with the concentrated typing early on a Sunday morning. Must be Team-Bhp"
