PS: In the original post, at Pic 31 it was mentioned that the review of a car by Team BHP forced the manufacturer to not launch the car at all!!! Can we get the name of the car that was not launched and maybe a link to that review?

I am pretty new here, started as a reader last year and got my membership approved (in 5th attempt ) just 3 months back, but no day passes without opening the website. Just reading, contributing, being a part of this forum makes me believe that I belong to a family of like minded people. This is where I belong.

Tryst:
My tryst with Team BHP started in 2009 when I got introduced to the forum through a colleague and for one year I was just a reader. In Sep 2010 just before I was planning a long trip (3500 km) through then Andhra Pradesh (Hyderabad to Srikakulam), I applied for a membership, but got rejected. Still I followed the forum for about six months or so. For about two years (2012-13) due to various other priorities, I was a very light reader of the forum and didn't even pay much attention to my cars too (I changed my petrol WagonR to a pre-owned WagonR during this stage). Come 2014, I wanted to upgrade my car to a bigger one and Team BHP entered my life at full force. I was again a reader for few months, but then tried at membership attempt again and got successful.

Being Member:
Although not a keen mechanical guy, my love for cars had grown manifold during the last two years. I shared quite a few variant comparisons for most of the new launches in the last 18 months. And I think they have been liked by most members here in the forum. My colleagues who sit around me call me for every car related discussion they are having. I'm the first one to be called for every test drive or car purchase decision these guys are making. Although they keep joking that everybody around me will get their car upgraded, but I wont for the next 4-5 years.

Apart from the Mods, all the members take that extra mile to offer help when needed to other members is what makes this forum extra special.

It gives me immense satisfaction to be part of this group.

The Change:
I used to watch at least 5-6 English movies a week. It came down to 1 movie every 2 or 3 weeks and all that time is shifted towards Team BHP. No respite/time from me for my wife. She thanks Team BHP.

Future:
Hope I'll keep my passion towards cars intact and I'll keep adding some information wherever possible and hope it benefits the readers.

Two threads that I read will define Team BHP for me.

Some love from the comparatively lesser known 2-wheeled world in here. Not just riding buddies, but a band of brothers who are genuinely willing to go to any extend to help and look after each other on any dire crisis! Thanks to the wonderful forum for uniting us all! And Happy B'Day.

It gives me immense pleasure and satisfaction to be a part of this family.
While reading and going through the photos in this thread I was getting goosebumps.

I was a non-member reader of Team-BHP for quite a lot of time and always wanted to be a member.
I still remember that day when I got the mail form Team-BHP stating that my membership was approved.

Team-BHP has molded me as a different person, not a day goes without reading the forums at this site.

Every time a car passes by with a Team-BHP sticker on it, gives me a feeling of pride and brotherhood.

Proud to say that I am a BHPian!!
