This is something we did consider, specifically because of this thread (20+ Lakh car without leather seats?).
However, on checking around with BHPians and friends who might have an aversion to leather, all of them said it wouldn't bother them - so we proceeded with real leather.

Oh alright then. Maybe it can be an opportunity some time in the future, if marketed to highlight the fact that no animals were harmed in the process. To me it seems like something quite a few people might appreciate. I must confess that my knowledge is lacking in the leather-making process, so I will refrain from commenting on this further for now.
Also, in the thread you mentioned, artificial leather was mentioned, used in cars upto the 3-series level. Is there a chance such materials could be used to make the wallets as well? If it is used in lower variants of some vehicles, that is indicative of lower cost. Apart from ethical reasons, there might be monetary gain as well, if it is viable at your scale.

Sweet, love the attention to detail & quality on all TBHP products. Excellent quality on the stickers as well, I just noticed some fade in the LTD sticker on my ride after 4 years of all weather conditions! Awaiting delivery of the wallet et al!

Got the wallet. That delivery van definitely had a lot of BHP, super fast delivery.

Loving the wallet the embossed letters in the same colour look very good. The quality of the leather is nice and the wallet feels very light. Got the coin pouch variant and the flap does close with a thud!

Got my wallet delivered today love the finish and feel of it. My current wallet is gigantic, it has 12 card slots and makes a big bulge in my jeans even when empty. I was anyway looking for sleeker wallets. This came out at the right time!

Yes, it is possible, was considered, and was pretty nice. However, the genuine leather ones had a more premium feel overall - so we went with that.

Was considering a similar slot for holding SIM cards etc, but our manufacturer advised against it.

I too keep my key in there, and while a slot might be nice for those of us who do, it might be strange to have for the others? Either way, I've not faced any issues with just leaving the key in the pouch as-is

Got my wallet delivered yesterday and my wife liked so much that she wanted to order one for her dad and I was able to convince one for my dad too. So ordered 2 more.

Few suggestions for improving the store site
1. Address - Sorely missing Address Line 3. Not all address details can be fitted in 2 lines. Can we have address line 3 or increase the characters which can be taken in address line 1 and address line 2?
2. Multiple Shipments - I added 2 wallets to cart but unable to provide different shipping address for each item. Hence had to create 2 orders.
3. When ordering for first time I mentioned that both billing and shipping address should be saved but only shipping address got saved to address book.

Wow i can totally relate myself with this quote However i was really holding on to it due to emotional attachment (using since high school, lasted for ages). 1. FedEx shipping to Mysore was fast, but the delivery people delayed it by one day

2. Very good packaging as per Team BHP standards

3. Wallet feels premium and soft to touch

Very timely and useful one for me, ordered one 2 days back and the wait has just begun. Going by the comments, hope it ships quickly unlike the custom coffee mugs which took ages.

Rehaan, few other things to consider

1. Laptop bag / back pack
2. Water bottle / Steel flask
3. T shirt (polo and round neck)
4. Calendar (Wall and table), if this can be custom made then nothing like it
5. Finally a Team-bhp cafe in major cities, where only members can hangout and talk about automobiles for hours over a cuppa
