v3.0
The v3.0 Team-BHP Hoodies have the same durable and comfortable DNA as the ones from previous years, though we've made several evolutionary changes...
Most notably, we now have 2 styles to choose from:
• A new collared jacket style. Can be worn with the collar upright, or folded down.
• The casual and comfy hoodie. This year, with a draw-string.
...everything else between the two styles is identical.
The 2 style options available:
Both styles get 3 totally new colours to choose from, based on votes by BHPians in
this poll.
Anthracite Grey:
Navy Blue:
Red:
THE DETAILS
The chest print can be personalized with
any string of text that you desire (or even
left blank):
(animated image)
Here's what it looks like on the different colours:
Several BHPians wanted a large print on the rear of the sweatshirt too, so we've added that an optional extra. You can choose between the following 3 options on any colour and style:
The strip of woven tape that lines the inside of the zipper gets a sporty new design:
It wraps around the hood too:
Just a small detail: We've added a contrasting grey moon-patch (under the label), so the rectangular shaped stitching of the label doesn't show up on the rear of the hoodie:
Last year the contrasting red zipper (
link) was a prominent design element. This year we've made the front of the hoodie a lot sleeker by concealing the heavy-duty 8mm zipper entirely (the fabric folds over it):
Practicality and safety for your belongings has been upped too. Not only are the pockets hidden away in a welt-pocket style, they're now secured by solid 5mm zippers as well. Bikers & active wearers will love this:
And to keep everyone happy, the hood gets drawstrings this year (the previous versions didn't - and a few BHPians requested this):
Some popular Team-BHP touches remain unchanged, like our
under-the-hood labels (I4, V6, V8, V10, V12, W16):
And here's what the waist label looks like on each colour:
The Garment• These hoodies & jackets are made from a 300 GSM 90/10 poly-cotton blend fabric, just like the previous years.
• A heat-fused inner-lining lets you wear your collar up or down, as per your preference.
• There's fluffy super-soft fleece on the inside to keep you warm and the front pockets are lined with a soft single jersey material.
• The cuffs and waistband have a snug fit and a small serving of Lycra to keep them elastic.
• The front zipper makes these jackets more versatile in different weather conditions and aids ingress & egress.
• The 8mm wide front zipper is super heavy-duty; in fact, it's the 335/45R18 of zippers. A gunmetal puller runs up and down its tracks. The pockets get 5mm zippers.
Prints & Personalization• All the text is heat-pressed on to the fabric, and has the sharpest edges you'll ever see on a print. It won't crack or fade over time either.
• The personalized text can be a maximum of 20 characters in length (we've upped it by 2 characters this year). Numbers and special characters are allowed.
• The text will always be printed in ALL CAPS, regardless of how it is entered.
• You get the option of adding "Live to Drive" or "Live to Ride" as a rear print; or if you prefer a minimal look, you can skip it entirely.
• Do check the store listing for how long the personalization process is likely to take, before your hoodie ships out...
Sizing
• Use the chart above to finalize the best size for you.
• Last year's hoodies were a bit undersized, and you were encouraged to order a size larger in some cases. However, this time we've totally overhauled the sizing. You can order the size you most frequently do in stores & online shopping.
• If comparing to the v2 hoodies, the M, L, 2XL & 3XL sizes have gotten noticeably larger for these Hoodies & Jackets.
Thread moved out from the Assembly Line. Enjoy the Hoodies/Jackets! :)
Thanks Rehaan for getting 'em hoodies out. I was almost on the verge of ordering two of them (one for me and one for my wife) but just confused regarding the size. I had ordered M v2 hoodie and it was a bit tight. Saw your note that M is slightly larger this time. I wear size 40 shirt. So is M still ok to order?
And how about for ladies? Is it universal fit?
Any chance if we can return them for size change if I have not customized it?

For reference: I'm 5'8" and 66 kg...
The v3 "M" fits me absolutely perfectly! (v2 M was really snug for me too)
The size difference between the "M" & "L" isn't too large, so I can wear a v3 "L" size as well, and its a nice comfort fit.
Given that you're taller and weigh +10kg to me, I'd suggest you pick "L" :)

Hoodies are pretty relaxed outerwear, so the fit is pretty universal. Several of my female friends have Team-BHP Hoodies (v1 & v2) and they wear them for several months during the year, thanks to overzealous office air-conditioning.
EDIT: I see a lot of people are choosing to leave the "Personalized Text" field blank. Here's a preview of what that will look like :)
Done. Ordered a pair for me and my wife! :) Now waiting for the shipment to arrive.

But what's your shoulder measurement ?
If it was same as V2, I may have ordered L. Little confused now - L or M ?
Excuse the pedantic question, but what shade is the RED exactly?
We're a nitpicky bunch you see, it's gotta be just right!lol:stupid:
Edit:
Never mind, picked the blue.
Another question: Placed a CoD order, order status update is a bit confusing. It's marked 'Awaiting Payment', but status description says I need to pay Cash on receipt. What gives?

Really not sure how to explain this. It's more of a bright red than a maroon or blood red.

Sorry, there's a bug / limitation of our store software.
Awaiting payment = Successful online payment (or that COD will be collected). :thumbs up

If this simplifies, Polo red or i20 red? :)
Is international delivery available please? I live in the UK and this will be perfect for autumn. Unfortunately, no one traveling from India to UK in the near future.
Wow wow wow...
A good morning surprise. The post from October was woken from sleep for such an excellent news. Let me quickly get a system to go through the details and make my selection...
EDIT: And the order has been successfully placed. Waiting eagerly now.

:D
Definitely more like a Swift / Polo red. (i20 is a bit darker / more maroon).

Sorry but we haven't found a good way to do this. If you find a good forwarding service, we'd be happy to help if any additional stuff is required (eg. special packing/address instructions) in getting it to them...
When I ordered the V2 hoodies, I chose L but found that they were a little snug fit and hence ordered XL this time just a few minutes back. I am 5'11" and around 70 kilos. Are the sizes same as of last year or changed? If it is the same as last year I will stick to XL or if not then please let me know.
