What will the design be like?

A lot of BHPians are looking forward to wearing these to work. I hear you. Will keep the design more understated and minimal for these. For the more flashy stuff, we do have the TBHP Tees already. More details & perhaps voting on some polo design options later on.


Will there be a full-sleeve option?

Good suggestion, and as someone who lives in Bombay not something that really crossed my mind. What I'll try to do is also include a full-sleeve option for the most popular colour/s. Will dig deeper into this at the time of the next poll.


Will they have pockets?

Sorry but this looks unlikely, as the majority prefer the style without pockets. The more options & variations we include, the harder every step of the process gets (sourcing, sampling, production, quality checking, store setup, logistics, stock keeping, stock forecasting, etc) - nonetheless, might include pocket preferences in the next poll.


Will they be customizable / personalizable?

I'd love to make this happen and am doing my best to make it a reality, but it looks unlikely for the polos at this stage. Perhaps in the future.

It's more likely the buttons will be matching the colour of the fabric. However, will finalize this once the final colours & design are clearer.

Very true. It's difficult stock to keep as well (gets dirty very easily). Was planning to avoid it, but thought I'd include it in the poll to see the general interest, which there certainly is some of.

Yes. Actually the green is somewhere between Army, Olive and Amazon -- but these things mean different things to different people, and colours display differently on each device. Will have a clearer idea of the green once the lab dips for colour are approved.

Wow! Great news! Having owned quite a few round neck t-bhp t shirts, I have no doubt about the quality of these polos! Please introduce the options to customize the polos, as is the case with existing tees.

Looking forward Rehan, when you will share the snapshots of the Team BHP Logo with these color options of Polo T-Shirts. I think a poll at that point, will get a good insight which is the ones users like.

Totally agree with one of the BHPians, that White Shirts in India are like a single use.

Slightly going , I prefer going by car with all windows up, while wearing a white shirt, such is the dusty nature of our cities which totally ruins the white shirts.

Rust Maroon and Army Green are colours of the season AW19-20. Voted for them along with classic colours like Grey Melange, Navy Blue and Royal Blue.

As you mentioned correctly Rehan, these can be worn to office so subtle logos would be much better. May I suggest an option to have the Team-BHP logo near the waist? Attaching a pic for reference:



Another humble suggestion; in future can we explore the option of Supima cotton as a choice of fabric? I've been ordering Supima T Shirts from postfold.com since a while now, and the fit, comfort and quality of colors all are at a different level.

Just seen above that most of us are shifting towards polos. Even I shifted to polos and half sleeve shirts for a while now. Incidentally, last week, I have donated all my full sleeve shirts. Now, the wardrobe looks little free and have seen this news

Voted for:

- Black - All time favorite
- Anthracite Melange - Looks cool in that picture
- Navy Blue - My current company's secondary color, will get a couple of those and wear regularly. I don't want to tell what the primary color is (Lavender )
- Rust Maroon - Can relate, rust and the metal

My $0.02, based on experience, about the full sleeve version

Do not mix the full sleeve with the half sleeve. Keep them separate, even from a design and product line perspective. What I mean is do not have the same style & colour polo in a full sleeve and a half sleeve version.

Reason? Full sleeve offers some nice design variations that are, at times, difficult to incorporate in a half sleeve. You also have more personalisation and "dual tone" options in a full sleeve.

Formal, plain, minimalistic = half sleeve
Personalised, dual tone, slightly flashy = full sleeve

Recently I replaced all (almost) my t-shirts with polos from Van Heusen. I think i must have brought more than 10 t-shirts. I do not have any restrictions at work when it comes to dress code, so polos have become my daily wear to work
But, I don't mind buying these team-bhp t-shirts and flaunt them in office.
I have opted for
Charcoal Grey
Anthracite Melange
Royal Blue
Rust Maroon
Army Green.
And I don't mind buying all 6

One request from my side. How about having a contrast color line on the collar and at the end of sleeves? Like the below picture?
