I know I'm addicted because when I wake up at 5:30AM, I first check any office mail and straight on to look at TBHP. Tell myself to spend no more than 5 minutes but I end up spending at least 30 minutes and end up actually getting up from the bed at 6:15AM!

Of course, the time looking at TBHP in office and at home do not even count here!

While other people around me are busy at chatting, posting on social media I stay busy in my own world. I.e reading Team-BHP threads and posts

1. My kindle is lying idle during 22.00 to 1.00.
2. My phone & tablet’s browser is full of bookmarks of Team-BHP threads.
3. I am always worried during long business meetings, what if I miss some new topic/update at Team-BHP.
4. When my all conversations with friends and family start with “as per Team-BHP thread…”
5. I ask someone to read some thread at Team-BHP. It's irritating when that someone comes up with an excuse that Team-BHP thread is 90 pages long.
6. I remember my each and every post thanked by Bhpains (A newbie Symptom)

Currently, I’m just 113 days old registered member with 42 posts. Let’s see where this addiction takes me.

This is how the conversation went on in our tuitions. Following are the characters:

- A girl (I want to befriend )

- My tuition teacher

- Me

The teacher is in conversation with the girl about Heat capacity. She claims that car radiators contain water as a coolant due to high specific heat capacity. Now, I am known to be a psychopath in her circle. Some of her friends even bully me for that matter, but thats a different story. I had promised myself that I would control the car nut inside when I was around her, but it didn't help.

Tuition teacher: "Car radiators use water as a coolant due to high specific heat capacity"

Me: (Butts in) "Nope. Thats a misconception. Cars nowadays use a special liquid called "coolant" which is sometimes diluted a bit with water or even poured directly. My 2.0 TDI uses pink coolant"

Teacher: (Tries to find a counter)

The girl : (Well, erm, Shocked, confused, cant really describe that expression)

Actually water has an incredibly high specific heat capacity.

The coolant that's mixed in serves many purposes, but it does NOT increase the specific heat capacity of the mixture.

Adding coolant:
- Reduces the boiling point (biggest advantage)
- Increases the freezing point ('anti-freeze' used in cold climates)
- Retards corrosion inside the cooling system

Pure ethylene glycol has a specific heat capacity about one half that of water. So, while providing freeze protection and an increased boiling point, ethylene glycol lowers the specific heat capacity of water mixtures relative to pure water.

Over the years I (without my knowledge) had developed a habit of unintentionally bringing up teambhp threads / articles in conversations. Now some people from my class conveniently call me teambhp. Im not annoyed

Always keep checking new posts whenever get time.
Want to own some new talked about vehicle so that I can write ownership review.
I read someone else review as mine. Can relate to each of his point as if I am writing.
Feel for some member when he post some problem/ incident. Myself try searching for its solution or keep checking to understand if someone has provided any solution.
Read new 'introduce yourself' thread and wonder when I would write one. (Experienced members might be remembering their first time)
Get happy to see meetup discussions or pictures although they are from different city or state.
Keep thinking about team BHP and it's threads.
If someone tells some auto news, first go to check if someone has posted it on team BHP or not.
Guess I am truly addicted!
