Haha, good one. The only thing is that my parents are smart enough to figure out if I am lying. They have known my interest in going on a solo trip since my 1st year of college days, maybe Kerala or Kanyakumari, and are always against it stating that's not safe blah blah, we can go with family, etc
Now, I am in my 7th sem, and still, the solo trip dream is not fulfilled:Frustrati
To all the BHPians, I would love to hear your story on how to tricked/convinced your parents to allow you on your solo trip :Cheering:
Let me admit. I am addicted to Team BHP.
90% of the time I access TBhp from my cell phone and only from my Laptop when I am writing a travelogue or a very long post, and that’s mainly because the photos are on my laptop.
It is the same for many members ?
Yes for me ☺️ Have a shortcut on my phone home screen and this is the one I go to most of the time. Only after I've spent 15 mins at least, I go to my other apps. There's almost always been something interesting giving a new perspective.
I often think about how often I visit Team-BHP and if there are others like me, aside from the moderators, who share my fondness for browsing the site. This inclination started during my time at the office when I had nothing else to do and would indulge in reading travelogues online. Although Quora is the only other active writing site, I only visited Team-BHP while at the office and never from home.
Upon arriving at the office, the first thing I do is open Team-BHP, followed by emails and other work-related sites in separate tabs. Even if I don't read anything right away, I always keep an eye on this site, and I can't explain why. This habit turned into an addiction, and now I am a regular visitor to Team-BHP.
Typically, I click on the hot threads and peruse the interesting topics first, followed by reading everything else. Whenever I feel frustrated, depressed, or stressed at work, I turn to Team-BHP, and reading a few blogs helps me unwind and feel liberated.
Many individuals inquire why I still prefer to read Team-BHP when there are numerous visual YouTube videos available. However, I favor writing-based sites with unbiased reviews and other user inputs, and I don't get bored as easily as I might while watching videos. Additionally, I can concentrate on both my work and reading the site while waiting for a rendering procedure to finish.
There's no doubt about it; I am definitely addicted to Team-BHP.
You are definitely not alone. My day starts by reading something on Team-BHP. It has replaced Instagram, Facebook for me.
p.s. - I have my semester exams tomorrow and I came in here for a quick refresh. Love for this forum just keeps growing. Thanks to all the fellow BHPians & Moderators / Administrators.
I follow team-bhp so much that, most of the recommendations from Google news is of Team BHP articles.
Yeah, I am addicted to Team BHP, and I know it when I open Team BHP more than I ever do my WhatApp+Mail+Insta et al combined and 'just 5 minutes more' turns into more than 2 hours of pouring through various threads.
You read most of the comments/threads before they get reflected in the "Hot Threads" section.
When you already know what thread in going to be start as a new thread and what thread you'll see tomorrow on the first page.

maybe even talking to me, but I'm in my own world - TBHP world. Have caused many arguments/fights between us :D
Office time and Team BHP log in time are the same :D
Resizing safari incognito and reading is some kind of thrill for sure!!!
When, you open it Incognito windows so that it doesn't dominate your browsing history.
When it's the first site you visit on the throne.
When you read a thread which was started years ago, from page 1 till page 150 in a single setting.
When you feelike you know some of the Distinguished BHPs despite never having met them.
I could go on. Truly, guilty as charged.
