The latest versions are doing some cookie-blocking stuff that might be affecting the functionality of this.

The way it's designed, the notification should not show again for weeks after you click "Close" once.

Thanks Rehaan for the revert and checking it up. I use firefox(mostly) and chrome. So I understand it is to do with Firefox than the site itself. Let me look it up and see if I can get any fix for it.

For Chrome I see that you had listed few things which may be the error. I do open up multiple tabs of tbhp too. So I will keep a watch on this thread to see if there is any resolution for it.
