If this is the same Rudra Sen who sat with me on a flight from Delhi to Bangalore about 10 years ago, helped me understand CAT (clear air turbulance) and has 4 nail marks permanently etched on his hand!!...then its an amazing coincidence!

I've been in this forum for about 10 months now & I have to say that I am yet to come across anybody who writes with so much passion and knowledge.

I've read almost all the threads you've started, it has never ever failed to amaze me!!! I am not as good as you are in expressing appreciation but... Way to go Sir! Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

My initial desire was to know about automobiles. Thanks for introducing us to more people in T-BHP. It gives a better picture about the people we interact with.

This shows your passion towards people Chief. Great write-up!!

May you have many more Saturdays and Sundays for such write-up’s.

Regards,

Raichal

Okay, I confess. I am disillusioned after reading this thread. I had always envisaged fellow T-Bhpians as metal bodied, petrol-sipping, garage visiting, and tarmac scorching automobiles; like, if someone had asked me earlier how GTO looked like, I would have answered, "isnt he the black mahindra classic with RUSH written on his forehead?" After reading this thread, this image lies shattered. YOU GUYS ARE HUMAN; of the living, breathing, driking, eating type. So much for the power of words. Anyway, great write up. Even makes a teetotaller like me grab a bottle of whiskey. Cheers to life.

PS: I have been wandering through T-BHP for a year now. Never came across this post. Probably there are many more alleys yet to be explored.

Amazing stuff!

I've been a member of this community for I guess about 8 months now and had never dwelled deep into the site to come up with this post. Post post-reading I'm truely honoured to be amongst people who not only share great automotive knowledge but great camaraderie too.
This makes me wish that I was there to be a part of such a great fraternity a lot earlier. Anyways, 3 years too late, but congrats to Rudra Sir for being made moderator!
Keep up the good work and hopefully in some span of time, I'll have the free time to make it to one of these meets!
Till then, God bless and keep revving!

Classic thread

Rudra Sir,

I would say its a classic thread not an old thread. It sure stirs up emotions make you feel there are less hours in a day.

Imagine a world without cars would we have more time on our hands or would it have been less ??

Finding some great friends within TeamBHP was a amazing experience.

Especially finding like minded people.
A lot of other friends and family fail to understand the term "meeting a friend who i met online on TBHP"
They might never understand but one thing is for sure that we have found friends for life.

Great write up Rudra Sir. You took words out of our mouth and wrote it.
