Well I thought I saw 2 3.5" floppy drives.

Those are indeed floppy disk drive(can be also some cartridge type backup media).

If I got my thing right these are 6026T-TF boxes. They do have an on-board FDD controller but the server does't come with a "drive" for the floppy.

Agreed it looks like it. Might as well be a "blank".

Hmmm... Its been quite a while since these servers are hosting us. It is but apt that we proclaim our rights by placing our names on them.

Multiple quad-cores and solid state disks, coupled to huge chunks of RAM . For a community that lusts after power, could the servers that drive us be left behind?

i don't see any floppy drives (or i'm getting old). those are Disk Arrays with hot plug hard drives - part of the SAN solution

Re: PIC : Team-BHP Stickers on Team-BHP servers!

Those are definitely not floppy disk drives. They are most likely RAID enabled drives, for all I know. intel Core stuff dont come with Floppy Disk Drives anymore. I got a bunch of them (servers with drives that look like floppy drives) right behind my back in the datacenter

The Team-BHP Servers!! iPhone pics taken by our man Joe. Thanks for looking after us, guys, and doing what needs to be done to keep Team-BHP accessible at all times

Server 1:
Attachment 375002

Server 2:
Attachment 375003
Those curious about the server:

Only the Server Admin would be knowing the configuration, as most severs are custom made according to the requirement.

The drives with a red button are SATA drives, wherein, red button says it is hot-swap (can be replaced/removed without powering off the server). Green LED says, the drives are online.

Each Drive should be of 250 or 500GB (Mostly it is) can be 1TB each too, but not below that.

By what I can see in the pictures, They look like loaded HP Proliant servers, DL&ML series.

They look like the super micro servers .They are definitely not HP servers . The case looks like a chenbro for the SAN storage

How about "Got CPU clocks?", "Got memory?" and "Got storage?" stickers for the servers

Happy to see the T-BHP servers.
Are we on the same servers or we are further upgraded?

Same config as 2010? No way!

We're always tweaking things to keep up with the growing demands of the site.
