Re: 3M Car Care (HSR Layout, Bangalore)

Guys,
Any idea which 3M Car Care Center is close to Vijayanagar, Bangalore? I know there is one near Ramaiah College and UB City. Any other?

Re: 3M Car Care (HSR Layout, Bangalore)

I finally installed sunfilms on the front windscreen on my Linea. Got it done at 3M at New BEL Road( near Sanjaynagar). It was CR-70 and the cost was Rs 7750/- with 5 year repalcement warranty. Their service was awesome because I didn't take any appointment and just headed to their showroom on a Sunday afternoon. Inspite of so many vehicles there, they accepted to install the sunfilms and did it in just 2 hrs .
So overall I'm very happy with the performance of the sunfilms and those guys at 3M.

Re: 3M Car Care (HSR Layout, Bangalore)

Hi, I just happened to visit 3M showroom in HSR layout. Went there to inquire about sun films. The person who attended was really good. He explained me everything on the sun film range they have. He also explained me about the detailing service they do. Nice place, would like to leave my car for filming and detailing service some time next week.

I enjoy going there. Great service. Nice people. Good to chat with while the work is getting done. And they really take care while doing the cleaning job I can tell you. Very diligent and committed. It is worth that 550/- that one spends for a thorough clean up job inside and outside the car!
I like this 3M service place in HSR Layout!

Yeah very true, infact since your time goes away chatting while the work is being is the best part. I am pretty regular here, but didn't see any Yeti's as yet , i guess you come during the weekends. Now a days i avoid weekends and come during evenings of weekdays as the rush is quite less.

Checked the price of 3M Sun film and under-body coating. Sun film re series is at 4600 and under-body coating at 3500.10% discount if i take both . Is that a good price?

I think there is some confusion over the pricing. I had been there over the last weekend. I remember seeing that the RE series starts only from 5310 onwards. I just called up Pradeep (store manager) to verify it. And yeah, you get a 10% discount on the sun film if you get both sunfilm and underbody coating done at the same time.
The CS series sunfilm is around 4860 and the underbody coating is 3524 rupees.

Re: 3M Car Care (HSR Layout, Bangalore)

Very effective to say the least. I no longer feel the intensity of the sun. Also when I park the car under the scorching sun, I can definitely feel the reduction in the heat. So its definitely worth the money.

Do we have to remove the stickers in the front windshield if we are to install this film?

Weekdays are best. Weekends are very crowded indeed.
Cheers.

Yes all the stickers would be removed, and any stickers pasted after would void warranty.

Re: 3M Car Care (HSR Layout, Bangalore)

I think i gotta seriously think about the CR70, it gets unusually hot these days and the Manza windshield is quite big so lets in all the heat, if Sidhu is reading this looking for an EMI option after looking at the current price for the film

Re: 3M Car Care (HSR Layout, Bangalore)

Sidhu if your around I've been asking 3M should have a customer loyalty program for repeat customers. I've also mentioned this in the feedback forms and calls that I get after any work done from the store. The pricing is really a stretch.
