So many things you want to get done after you get the car then you need to sell both the kidney's

On a serious note, are you aware in your friends car how fast does the a/c cool the car if the car is standing for a couple of hours in the sun?

I took delivery of my Linea on 23rd March morning.

I got the sunfilms installed from 3M Car care HSR Layout - including CR70 for the windshield.

I parked my car for almost 1 hour in the hot 1 PM Sun just outside 3M HSR to check the performance of the films - the car was way cooler - at least 50%. The cabin in my car was cooled in about 3 minutes to comfortable levels when I set the AC at 18 degrees on climate control.

I also felt more comfortable driving in hot mid day sun - the harsh light does not seem as harsh.

I took a spin in the night and headlight glare seemed to be more tolerable, but I did not find the films interfering with visibility.

The car was delivered with customary scratches from the showroom, so I decided to go for 3M paint protection as well. The car was washed squeaky clean, wiped dry, and the coatings applied.

I got my car washed there last week. Talked to Sidhu as well. The total experience was quite pleasant. All those boys are so polite, they all work on the car at the same time time and make us feel their enthusiasm. When I was watching them work in the basement, at-least 4 boys at different times offered me a chair to sit down, though I politely declined. Felt really nice to be around! And I saw 3-4 cars [on a Tuesday] being worked around. Including one was an Azure grey Swift with "I Drive Safe" sticker on the front bumper, navigator side.

Just got sunfilm installed for sides and the front windscreen, the cabin stays cooler and must say a lot brighter than my dealer installed garware international film. 3M products are great but I keep ranting only on one thing that is the after paying 13K for installation its gonna leave me sore like this .

3M seriously needs to have a Customer Loyalty Program period

Yeah, true they should definately start with some 3M Royalty program, garner points for every rupee spent plus preferential treatment when booking an appointment after a certain level.

It has been a week already since I took delivery of my Linea MJD - and I have understood that maintaining a dark coloured car is not going to be easy.

Daily drive to Bellandur from Banashankari and back - and the car got covered in several layers of dust on every trip - and several spots of bird dookey

I did wash the car once during the week - it was quite easy - as the paint protection gives a very slippery finish - and the dust just gets washed off easily with a good spray of water.

As HSR is midway between office and home, I could not resist getting a good wash and wax 3M Car Care. There are a few things that makes me happy -

1) cars are never abused - they are carefully driven
2) floor is cleaned several times and the area is always kept clean
3) guys at the store are always helpful, and answer any question about product / service to my satisfaction.
4) great attention to detail.

Here are some pics of todays wash. I should have taken some pics before the wash to bring out the difference - will do that next time.

I had been to 3M Car Care @ HSR Layout for my new car Polo, a couple of weeks back.
I just went there for the paint protection and sun-films.
Met up with Sidhu and he introduced me to the different categories of sun-films.

We chose the CR range for the car. CR-70 for the front and CR-40 for the rest. The CR films are doing a brilliant job in keeping the car cool.

We left the car at 10AM and Sidhu promised the delivery at 2.30PM
The car was ready at 2.30PM and boy, was i impressed with their work!!

It was a fantastic experience to catch up with Sidhu.
I would definitely recommend this place to everybody.

My friend had just bought a gold i20 Asta and after seeing the results on my car, he wanted a paint sealant treatment on his i20 as well. We booked a slot for yesterday morning and I brought my T-Jet along too. Since I had detailed my car with the sealant protection last July, I just went for a Power Shine treatment for the Jet (included 3M foam wash, engine bay cleaning, full interior vacuum clean, tyre dressing, wax polish and glass cleaning). My friend went for the costliest comprehensive exterior beautification (paint sealant protection) since his car was new.

Hats off to Sidhu, Pradeep and the entire team at 3M for getting some extra shine back on the Jet and the i20. After seeing some swirl marks on my bonnet, Sidhu sir was kind enough to offer me a free detailing treatment for that section on the bonnet. It is now completely perfect. I will be back in July for the paint sealant repeat application for the Jet . Thank you so much sir, for spending such a lot of time with both of us and our cars. All of the staff members were very warm and friendly, as always. Nice to see the 3M team working perfectly to get that smile on our faces. Kudos to to all of these perfectionists!

P.S - met shishir_bn and moderator Jaggu. Shishir_bn had brought his xylo in for a checkup and Jaggu came here in that really cool looking Gypsy. We ended up having a small team-BHP meet session here at the 3M centre with sidhu, shishir, Jaggu and myself.

Exterior detailing for my Verna was pending for a long time and yesterday it happened at 3M at HSR.
I had done a exterior detailing -advanced and AC duct cleaning. Picked up 2 micro fiber clothes also.

Car had a lot of scratches on both the sides and on bumpers. All the scratches except the deep ones are gone and the car looks as good as how it came out of show room.
Met siddhu also and it was nice talking to him. Always making sure that the work is done properly and i am a happy customer... and i should say I am.

Would suggest this place for anyone.

Folks,

I am looking for sun film and underbody coating options for my upcoming Sunny. Spoke to 3M HSR Layout and the price quoted for the CR 70 front windshield is Rs. 7750 and CS 50 for side and rear is Rs. 5735. I have got quotes for the same combo from a dealer at 7000 and 4500 respectively. This makes me think why there is so much of difference. Ideally it should be the other way round.

Look forward to more info or expert comments on the pricing
