I recently took possession of my White Unicorn: 2014 Honda City SV CVT.

I have 2 small kids and no matter how much I restrict, there will always be water/milk bottles getting leaked. I had already removed the Honda Official floor mats from the accessory list. They are flat and not of much use. I was then contemplating to go for 3d mats. However, I could not find any place where I could get one for the 2014 Honda City. In parallel, I was debating whether to get 3M Nomad mats as well.

2 things that were kind of preventing me to go for it were:
- Looks of the Nomad Mats. Does not give premium feeling
- Pretty expensive and wasn’t sure whether it was worth it.

After lot of research, I agreed that I should be going with noodle style mats (Nomad style). There have been lot of members who have done DIY for these mats. I wasn’t hundred percent convinced to go that way.

As I had already spent a lot of money for car and some accessories, I thought that this is a small investment and would be worthwhile. I finally took the plunge and decided to go for 3M Nomad Mats.

Little bit of research on forum, and I decided that it has to be 3M HSR branch and only when Mr. Sidhu is around.

I call him in morning and mention about my requirements and we decide to get it done in afternoon.

I reach there, and a friendly Sidhu greets you with a smile. He showed me the various options of Nomad mats (comes in 3 shades as mentioned in earlier posts). I was sort of confused between black and beige but with Mr. Sidhu’s guidance decided to go for beige ones.

Sidhu is a very friendly person. He gave lot of helpful tips as well in maintaining my car and is not at all pushy in forcing other 3M services on you.

He spotted some dirty spots on my Art Leather and got them cleaned up as well. He just does not leave the work to his boys but supervises the work himself very closely as well (each and every car).

Overall a very pleasant experience and I’ll definitely be visiting again soon to avail some of other 3M services at this branch.

The best part (Icing on cake): I got to meet our Team-BHP Moderator: Ajmat (Ajit Mathew) who had come to avail some of 3M services. I had a nice chat with him with respect to my recently acquired White Unicorn

I don't think I subscribe to your viewpoint. I've got a black car and I could make out if it was spanking clean or not. You just gotta look.

Did the Vento wash and clean yesterday. Was the 5th wash (4 by 3M and 1 by me) in about 6 months. Been using Jopasu for daily use.

My car is nearing 65,000 kms and an interior detailing was long overdue. The fabric seats had started losing their colour - blacks appearing more greyish and greys appearing more reddish.

Everytime i visited 3M during the past few months, i used to request them to check the interiors and proceed with the detailing if necessary. The answer always used to be 'not just yet' and they were right - regular vaccuming used to take care of it temporarily. Finally we did the interior detailing (I believe Germkleen package) last week.

Finally we did the interior detailing (I believe Germkleen package) last week.

Car looks almost brand new! Enjoy many more miles!

It was almost one year since the paint sealant was done. I used to take care of minor swirls by applying Meguiars UC and UP but couldn't eliminate the deep scratches and swirls by hand. Hence decided to take it to 3M for the advanced paint sealant yesterday. As usual, the work done was great. Once I drove the car back to home, no one in the neighborhood believed that the car has 82000 km on odo .

Had been to 3M this morning to get the long pending Nomad mats for my Figo. I was surprised to see an empty shop there owing to the long weekend.

Met Mr.Sidhu who was with his trademark smile as always. Got black mats for the car and the work was done in a very professional way. The interiors were cleaned thoroughly and the mats were fitted to perfection. Very clean job. Kudos.
