That's the thing,I saw the HSR thread and exactly why i asked here, HSR is too far from my place, and this place is a little closer, hence the enquiry, any info would be helpful
I figured since this runs like a franchisee model, they'd have the same product line up

Hey Raghav, from what I heard at the HSR 3M, they are the only guys with the wrap.
I'll be headed there tomorrow too, I'll find out if it's available anywhere else & keep you posted

Will be taking delivery of my new Ritz this Friday.

Booked an appointment with Mr. Amit for Saturday morning.

I plan to get the under body coating done (5 yr warranty) and 3M paint protection films on the bumper edges (instead of bumper strips to avoid scratches) and on the mirrors. Will not be going for the CF wrap on the mirrors since they are body colored in the ZDi.

Do i need to go in for the Paint Sealant? I was also suggested the CR70 sun films and the 3M Nomad Floor Mats.

Dealer is charging me around 2.7k for the rubber floor mats but will go for the 3M ones instead - extra 2k i guess.

What else would you guys recommend for a brand new car?

You can avoid the underbody coating if you plan to use the car in bangalore only .
I recently got the underbody of my 3 year old Ritz checked and its perfectly fine , no rusting or anything .
Regarding those nomad mats, check out with any local hardware store they also @ times stores those mats and will not cost you that much compared to the 3m stuff.
Paint sealent is a good option , specially for the bonnet part, as this is will help when those stones and other thing hit the bonnet on highways runs.

The car will be used in Blore only apart and will see the beach side only during vacations... maybe once a year or so.

I was suggested the paint protection films (PPF) on the bumper corners, RVM's, running boards and bonnet area. Will get the paint sealant and exterior detailing done at a later stage. For now i will stick to the PPF job only.

I have taken one year`service coupon from Mr Amit and done 3 visits so far. I am v sorry to say the level of minute detailing in interiors and exterior has gone down drastically with the team mates here.

Even when complained/high lighted before,same mistakes they does.

Seems they are careless / full or not interested in their work any more.

Think twice before you step in guys..

Leaving my scorpio today with them for interior & exterior rework. Will update you all on receipt of the vehicle back.

My Friends figo went in for 3M films and he decided to try a bit of 3m carbon fiber vinyl wrap on the front bumper.

Had gone to Amit to get my white beast done up.
Amit and his his staff did everything they could to make me feel right at home

As soon as I went there I was greeted by a 3m person and later taken to Amit. A quick discussion about what needed to be done and he somehow managed to squeeze me into one of their empty slots.

The front driver side window of my car had lot of glue thanks to the old sun control film he quickly called somebody and had all the glue removed.

Soon after this his team got to work on my ride.

I was always around while the work was going on.

They must have thought why wont this guy leave the car and go? and come back later

Few hours later work all done and boy they did a terrific job!

I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves their car.

Finally I also had the sun film removed from my Scorpio few weeks back from the 3M and as always Amit's team did a great job. I did not want to try it myself based on my experience with my Santro couple of years back.

I almost forgot, here is what was in for a makeover when I last visited:

Another weekend visit and a happy experience. Since the last exterior detailing done was more than 8 months back, thought of seeing what could be done on this visit.

Exterior Detailing Job

1. Exterior detailing- Sealant program
Give ultimate protection to the paint surface with 3M’s advanced paint sealant technology removes minor scratches, restores gloss and seals the car surface, includes vacuum cleaning,tyre cleaning with shampoo.

2. Seen the 3M scotchprint (CF) wraps( black-matte) and tried on the grill and pillars.

It was a great experience and as usual Amit and he was very helpful in showing the products that they deal with and also a demo of the same.

Duration: 6 hours

Decided to stay there during the entire process, the car was ready 30 min before the estimated time.

Observations: Approximately 8 cars for various jobs. Innovas dominated the day with Laura, Ertiga, Xylo and 520d filled in at different times.

Sunfilming continues but the CR70, customer insisting even though the 3M say it is illegal.

Would like to add my 2 cents to the ongoing conversation. The personal touch and service provided by Mr. Amit Shah is what makes the whole experience so wonderful. The cars I have taken to them - BMW 5 series, Mitsubishi Pajero, Maruti Swift, Ambassador Avigo, Honda CRV, Volkswagen Beetle, Toyota Altis, Mahindra XUV,Verna Fluidic a few belonging to me, the others referred to friends and at the end of the day we have all been so happy with the results. I've seen two 3M outlets. One of them near Domlur and the other one in HSR Layout.

Which one do you guys recommend?
